It's doing you a favor. What little content there is is cockblocked by retarded design that only allows one person to use something at a time. There are lines to bowl, to play an arcade machine/chess/pool, and even to put a fucking code into a keypad that unlocks a door.

As a side note, the censorship is retarded too. Home's own pre-programmed sentences get censored, so you'll be walking around saying ****o to everyone and noticing swear words in places you never even noticed. It's like playing PSO.

Downloading it now. I find it odd that when i entered my code, it took me to the Download page, and under PLAYSTATION Home Beta it says "Sony Computer Entertainment Europe"

The email i got came from Sony Computer Entertainment America.

Either way, installing now.

Ran around a bit, and i even created a Clubhouse! Club BG FTW. I haven't decorated it yet, but if anyone is in the Beta and wants to check it out let me know =P I was bored. Gonna check out the thing that starts in a few mins.

what's the name of the bg club? I only found one that said BGS wasn't sure if that was it or not..

The maturatey (sp?) level of the majority of people playing completly ruin every good aspect of the game. Everything from letting the N word fly around on voice chat, to watching every female character walking around get shamlessly bothered (being humped with the "running man" dance animation for example) or otherwise on the receiving end of corny one liners. I swear, this game seems like a singles bar for pervs.

Bottom line is there isan't much to do right now, and paying for game items with RL money blows. Maybe they will fix this game when the open Beta concludes, but i doubt it.

They need to adjust it so you can buy items AND get those items after obtaining certain trophies.

I played around with the UFO game and watched the Twilight video in the theater and got annoyed that all the guys yelling on the mics around me were so loud compared to everything else.

Throwing my vote on being lame that in game items cost RL cash. They should give you credits for trophies earned or something.

That instantly turned me off also. Not 5 seconds after getting into the hub zone did I have ppl starting saying "hi cutie" or dance humping me. And I had to spam the bubble machine to try and dance on... reminded me of King camping and and spamming ur "stun" (or w/e move) during the 1~ min part of the window the mob can pop in.

Concept seems cool & the graphics are nice, but until they fix it so that anybody can try anything w/o having to fight others for stuff... I'll never give it an honest try. That, and they need to let you name ur avatar outside of ur User ID! It also seemed very empty (well it was busy, but I expected it to look more crowded then Dalaraan or Whitegate) from what I expected to it be.

It's a beta, so I have hope they can fix these things later on... Not to mention fix it so not everything is censored. Oh yeah... and in game activities should give u credits to buy stuff... shouldn't need to pay money for online gimmicks

After I found out that Home was totally useless for anything, I just decided to start dancing in the middle of the bowling lanes, trying to be the biggest cock I can be.

After the interest of that wore off in about 17 seconds, I logged out and have absolutely zero reason to ever log in to Home again.

You know you can turn off voice chat and the chat log right? I just go and play pool/chess. It's actually quite relaxing. =)
