running ffxi from a ipod?

so working ot one day and i see one of my friends playing wow on a work pc running it from his ipod. wondering if this can be done with ffxi also, not sure b/c i use windower also. anyone know?

You may have to do some editing for Registry values and such to get it to work properly since FFXI is a fickle mistress.

Try this thread over in Tech about playing from a Flash Drive, should have some info you can use.

Pretty sure he meant installed to the iPod and then played on a PC by connecting the iPod to the PC. Not actually playing FFXI on the iPod.

The sig was shop'd but he posted pictures of it running on his iPhone, I think he said it was laggy as hell with other people on screen though.

Kham has done it, but he shopped the pictures to make it look better. It's way to laggy to be anything outside of a chat box via your Iphone from what I gathered. He had his Iphone remotely connected to his Comp and ran it that way. I think there is even an app in the Apple Store that lets you do this (though Kham didn't use the Apple app)
