Weapon Skill induced D/C?

While skilling up in Kuftal today (there wasn't many people around either) a friend of mine who was duoing with me would begin using Sunburst once he got the WS. Every time he used this my screen would freeze, but the game would still run. After a few minutes it would close and PoL would pop up saying that it terminated due to an error. This happened about 6 or 7 more times and I told him not to use the WS anymore. However, since I had my staff on me I decided to try if using it myself effected me and I got it off without any further issues. I found this really odd, anyone else have this issue before?

Had the same problem when I tried to zone out to Port Jeuno. RIP my old ui mods. I was pretty pissed that afternoon.

Haha my favorite one like this was when I summoned Diabolos, this person in our ls crashed. He was so pissed everytime I summoned XD
