If I have Adblock and Noscript installed. Do I need to download Flashblock also? I noticed this "Flashblock" add-on on their site also.
Or does Adblock block flashes automatically?

Noscript can block flash files if it doesn't already. Go into settings and make it block shockwave/flash. Also, make sure you block iframes, as thats were the majority of hacks are coming from..
Another good addon for firefox, although nothing to do with security, is Imagebot.
Oh I see the setting now, should I block Iframes only? or frames too?
Iframes only is fine.
Also, I personally use Flashblock in addition to NoScript, mostly because I feel NoScript's blocking of Java and Flash applications can be very problematic. There are times when something blocked by NoScript won't load at all no matter what I do, but I rarely ever have problems clicking on something stopped by Flashblock.
The only key to that is to wait a few seconds after the page loads (and it's especially important to do this on YouTube). I often hear people say that they try to click on the Flashblock option to play something, and that the article never loads -- I suggest reloading the page, waiting a few moments, and then clicking on the app, and this almost always fixes their problem.
Just need a little patience.
Frames should not matter, just iFrames. I've never had a problem with noscript and flash, nor, upuntil now, have I ever even heard of people having problems. I make my entire family use it, my mother, my father, my brother, even my gradma uses Noscript, none of them have ever called me or asked me why a flash object isn't loading.
Most of the people I know have had problems in the past, and some have wound up disabling NoScript altogether because of it. I've never told them to do that, but they've done it simply out of frustration. One of my friends also had the application disabled by their college's boneheaded IT department because they couldn't figure out how to make it work with their intranet.
I doubt your family visits some of the sites my friends do, though. And if they did you probably wouldn't want to know about it.
thanks a bunch, less plugins wasting space the better I suppose. trying to consolidate them all >.>
Also one last question, I was looking in my plugins and found alot of them that I didn't understand what they were. So I looked up on google each one and found out that these are bad plugins and that I'm supposed to remove or disable them asap.
Is this true? for the time being I'm only disabling them.

The getPlus plug-in is for Adobe Reader. The others are harmless also, particularly the last one, which enables you to play Windows Media files in Firefox. I'm not sure why people would tell you to disable them, unless they're concerned with Microsoft's general security issues and the fact that getPlus is an updater component.
yeah the last plugin came up fine in google but I disabled it since I dont use it. Same for the adobe one. The microsoft drm ones were the only bad ones in google that came up due to security exploits. I don't use WM player anyways.
I understand if you want to be safe. The Windows Media plug-in is for displaying embedded video, as some news sites and other places use that. That's really all it's for.
alright thanks again :3
Another question since I don't wanna make another thread just for it.
How do I stop my URL bar from showing my favorites like this when I type in a partial phrase?

I tried searching google but only found results on how to move to bar >.>
Thanks in advance.
If you mean your browsing history, you should be able to do this:
1. Click "Tools," then "Options," then "Privacy."
2. Un-check 'Keep my browser history for at least XX days."
3. Optionally, you may also click "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" at the bottom of the "Privacy" window (and if you want, hit the "Settings" button next to that and customize what it clears).
It took awhile to find in google since I didn't know what the term was for it. But I found a fix.
Prevent Firefox from Showing Bookmarks in the Address Bar
It just keeps your favorites from showing as suggestions in your URL bar if your typing half of a word or phrase, etc. Its really annoying imo, especially during presentations lol.
Huh, I didn't even know it did that.
Of course, I never clear my browser history at all, so I didn't notice the favorites mingling with the history.
Yeah its EXTREMELY annoying personally. Hopefully the FF adds in the future an easier option to disable this other than having to go into the "about:config" page for modification.
Also if anyone else cares, the link I posted above doesen't "fully" explain how to remove it.
Go to this link, then read the comment section where the guy explains the full fix JaysTech: How to stop firefox bookmarks appearing in address bar
Anyways, just a heads up for anyone that really cares.
