Playing on a PS3 controller is annoying as hell(maybe even worse than normal... shitty position always making me jump). I will just have to endure until I purchase a good arcade stick.

EDIT: Also, shitty connection problems. Matches keep disconnection after character selecting and on the vs screen. Anyone having this problem?

I just played a couple games with Burner and had no connection problems, a little lag occasionally , but that's it.

Majority of my games are completely lag free. Maybe 10% have small lag issues and 1% disconnect issues. (percentage completely made up but you get the idea)

And, I don't get why people disconnect after they know they have no chance of winning. Yeah, let's wait 3 minutes until you play another game instead of taking the loss!

Did anybody get to download this game for free? I'm not sure if it was a glitch or what, but I just downloaded the game and wasn't charged for it. Basically what I did was this ~

I selected the game and put it in my cart, and I kept browsing.
I got 2 LBP free downloads and added those to my cart as well.
1 of the LBP was $1.99 so the PSN charged me that amount, but NOT the Street Fighter 2 amount.
When I went into my download contents the game was there and I got it for free.

If this happened to anyone else post pls, or if somebody downloads the game and doesn't get charged post as well

That seems to happen in bunches for me. Between my roommate and I, we had the game running for 10 hours last night. It would be fine for a while, but every hour or so it would boot us from 2-3 matches in a row trying to get to character select.

Got the Xbox version. The controller isn't bad at all, and I have had 0 laggy matches so far. Definitely worth the 1200 points.

Anyone have this on PS3? For those who do, anyone having a problem with the stick on the PS3 controller? I am personally finding Boxer's headbutt insanely annoying to do and i don't know why(Its charge down for 2 secs, then release with punch). Should be easy.

I have a PS2 controller converter so I'm using the real arcade pro stick with it, but I don't have any problems using any moves at all.

All controllers are gonna be pretty tough to play with, unless you have an arcade stick. I was trying to be cheesy with Guile's Flash Kick-Sonic Booms, but I'd have quite a few moments where either didn't execute. That said, I'll be ordering a stick from play-asia or ebay, seeing as all the Gamestops around here have run out of the Hori FSP3 conveniently the day after SSF2THDR was released LOL.

If you're playing on a normal controller you're better off using the D-pad on the PS3(obviously for 360 it's hard to tell which one sucks more).

I unconsciously use the D pad for this game. It has been a decade since I last picked up a Street Fighter game, and now that I have it I can't bring myself to use the stick for it. I am giving myself blisters on my thumb using the pad.

Damn, I am so rusty on this. I bet I will start spending hours on this now just to relearn the moves. My five year old self could kick my ass right now in this game.

Had a strange glitch today online. Boxer vs Gief and I won, but Gief had health and time didn't run out. We both victory posed.


Another thing: Is it just me or can someone trap in a lobby if the hit "start game" before you hit leave lobby? Goddamn this shit is annoying.

I ran into this bug yesterday where the screen and the opponent was black (I could see my character just fine). Apparently it was the same for the guy I was playing against as well cause we both couldn't do shit and just guess where each other was...

That was interesting.... He didn't disconnect either so we just blindly fought each other ;o
