So today I fought lightning ken. Secret character or shitty glitch?!?!

I was playing Blanka vs a Ken(SURPISE!) and I hit them with a shock. But even after he recovered some of the lightning remained on his body. It was animated and everything. He fought like normal except when he did his DPs he would become invisible between the beginner and ending animations. This could have just been another effect of lag(which I imagine was the cause of the lightning in the first place). His "lightning armor" remained until half way through the second round.

Glitches in this game kick ass.

That Blanka one is pretty common. Usually it happens if you hit them with electricity as they're going for a throw.

I'm getting pretty tired of the attitude that if someone beats you, you have to leave negative feedback for them on XBLive. My roommate was playing tonight, and someone sent him a message after getting pounded by Guile, "I marked you down because I'm positive you're using a turbo controller. There's no other way you could be throwing Sonic Booms so fast." Has anyone else heard of a magical time warping controller to do faster charge moves? Yeah... I didn't think so. 46% of the feedback on our XBL account since HD Remix came out has been negative. Awesome

On a more STHD related note, NEC finals were DSP's Akuma vs. some JP dude's Akuma. Word on the street is he might not remain tournament legal for very long.

For awhile I thought he sucked because every idiot thinks "SECRET OMEGA CHARACTER" and it just means more damage for my boxer. Unless they were lagging, Akuma seems to only get better with lag. Unfortunately, it was just the bad players and he's basically like another Old Sagat. Some would debate Sagat is better than him though.

I am not even exaggerating when I say the last 7 matches were all Ryu. I mean SEVEN DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I'll beat them once, and then I'll switch characters and they'll still be Ryu. I never stayed around for third rounds because after the first 3 matches I learned that they will just pick Ryu again.

Just before those 7 someone played Ryu, then Ken, then Akuma.

By the way, the electricity around you thing happened to me, except I was playing Zangief. I don't think I have some invisible armor though after getting it.

So finally got around to downloading this today. I think my childhood memories are playing tricks on me because I suck horrendously. Took me forever to beat the game on easy lol. As far as online goes, a lot of weird stuff happens all the time glitch-wise, i.e. both characters start out with rounds already won, last characters name is still shown, health bars forget to load the yellow front-bar portion, characters spontaneously have Barfire/lightning on them lol. I chose to download the PS3 version due to its better d-pad but anyone serious about SF will naturally buy a joy-stick.

I remember super turbo has always been hard against the AI. I actually thought the remix AI was fairly easy (except Akuma), but classic still kicks my ass...
