Legitimately? As far as I know, yes.

I think the general feeling with him is that he uses everyone to his advantage. So not really his fault so many are willing to be his pawns.

thats not true at all, he lead a dynamis ls when he got his first 2 i was a member of it and i can tell you he didnt rmtd them, the only thing i know he was guilty about was he screwed his sky ls and stole the whole bank if i remember well.

What Demijayde wrote is not that wrong. Sadly I was part of this whole mess for a short time. The first idea of Venecia was to form a EU/EST LS with Omare, not knowing the background of some people he wanted to have join later also (one was Aviry).

Aviry even said himself he decides by favouritism, with the difference that he calls it “human” or “decision by heart”. For him friends > LS members, the decisions I saw and read about later were not always based on including all members same. (This shouldn´t matter at this point though, since he will be a normal member in EX)

Now to the important parts:
1. The only real positive comments here come from people he plays/played with long time -Cat, Theone, Damane- (Hi to you guys ), but I have a few positive ones too . Beside that he was/is known by most on Unicorn and hated by almost as many. (Yes I am still sometimes on Unicorn/talking to Unicorns to know that). So a server switch is his last option.
2. “Always showed up to lead events, even when he didn't have anything to gain from it”
This is true.
3. He is a good tank and knows a lot. But he was a big whiner for people making personal macros for him when he is tanking because he does not trust them while he is blinking like a broken lamp. This could be good for some real bad players, not a solution in making Healers better though.
4. Aviry is nice as long as you are nice to him. If you don´t agree with him he turns into a complete thick-head. The reason Venecia was abused by so many Linkshell members that left after what they received. Why be around in an environment that is so bad?

This leads to the next point. Many people placed bets on Aviry getting what he wanted, some others getting what they wanted and then byebye Venecia. Here we are a bit over 1 year later and we all were right. (Failing twice (Pain/Venecia), must have a reason)

Yes, Venecia has been around for 15.5 months, which is not 2 years. Was formed in August 07. The later Version of Venecia exists since September 07.

Some things maybe change, some however never will Damane. I also doubt those people I am talking to lie. They have no reason.

Like mentioned, him and his friend lost first pimped out character due to botting. (many were on the botting list posted months ago from Taj as well). He was a lootwhore but that should not matter anymore, since he has most of the stuff he wanted I assume.

He was not really insulting Aviry. He was posting the truth that not just people that have been in Venecia can confirm. Seeing those smart comments, Aviry actually fits perfect into your Linkshell.

Summary:
Aviry is camping a lot and was camping a lot. So I am sure you will see him at almost every camp. His decisions were not always fair, but as long as he does not get to do them in EX, you are fine. (down-the-line is a key word here). If you want a skilled person that knows how to play and is dedicated to camping I would say take him. Reading information about EX I am sure he can fit in your LS, especially for Chubbs .
And yes I honestly think he could fit perfectly into the LS he applied to. Good luck Aviry.

Aviry is the only PLD i was respecting on Unicorn, as simple as that. he's good in general but his PLD is the thing that ill remember.

about personnal problems people had, iv heard many bad rumors about him and in the end most if not all of them were wrong from what iv seen. i dont think he ever concidered me as a friend and yet iv gotten something big thanks to his choice so i wouldnt say he's thinking friends > LS or any other judgement like this. was maybe a lootwhore but if he showed up as much as he showed up in the few months i was with him in vene then he totally deserved.

about the whining while blinking well ... its normal imo there is a reason why we were the only to use 1 tank and kill something with this single tank while every other HNMLSs of Unicorn cant kill anything without 3 to 7 tanks, half of them having Aegis. rather have a christmas three and get shit done than a 4 aegis order and get the whole alliance a fresh 74 and a direct trip to HP.

not often that i speak in good about people and i have nothing to win so, its worth something lol.

every ls needs 3-7 tanks? o silly rabbit...not everyone does that...besides iirc i've seen yourself and omare and aviry dead in the dirt from a well placed lightening spear to the face, its happened to everyone no one is immune to pony powers. (and vene has been seen killing ix with like 4-5 delevels as well )

Pxt made the decision a long time ago to stop camping kings and move onto the 'event' side of FFXI. If you enjoy camping up to 9 hours a day, then more power to you. We agreed as an LS that a Odin was much more efficient when compared to kings, so we stopped camping.

We as an LS have no regrets whatsoever about not camping kings anymore. We've gotten more Odins done than anyone else, we have the most Salvage pieces completed, and we're still getting ouryu, bahamuts, sea, dynamis, ks99, and limbus done at the same time. Next time before you decide to belittle a LS, how about you at least do a little research first? It would avoid me having to respond and derail threads like these. Thanks
