Verdelet is also an easy solo for RDM/NIN if the Mire is active and you can survive the pull.
You just pop him and run him to the lake outside Nashmau, which is past a lot of true sight imps if the mire isn't active. He stops every few seconds whether he has anyone to cast on or not, so you can make distance easily and Sneak/Invis past the Chigoes easily. Just kite him around the lake, keep DoT on him, and nuke it some. Took under 45 minutes with 2, probably could have taken much less than that. Blink blinkable nukes and nuke back, Out of Range unblinkable nukes or eat them with a MDB build if you're lazy.
And yeah, to anyone from SE reading and thinking "oh shit, maybe we should make their rage actually matter," just know that you'll have a steaming pile of shit in a box delivered at your door the day the patch goes live! Tier 1/2 NMs in each path are easily soloable/duoable, and so are Dea and Nuhn. Out of the 27 required fights for three tier 4 pops, this cuts it down to only 7 fights (+3 for the tier 4s) that you need your LS for. 10 is a lot less daunting than 30.
Double post it seems.. can someone delete this?
Dea is the same as Iriz Ima honestly, it just walks a little faster. Stay close to the tower's edges and kite around the it with DoT/nuking when possible. Movement speed shouldn't be needed.
I did Nuhn with a group, but it ended up pretty much being myself(RDM) and a PLD duoing it.
Easy solo with cuisses, but I'd still say that it's possible without. Kite it around at the area SouthWest of the pop spot and keep DoTs on basically. When he's in Leech spam mode, just run out of its range and it'll stop for a second or two, allowing you to cast on it. The other mode is a tad harder to kite, but it's nothing special honestly, the pathing allows you to get out of its range just fine.
Neither myself or the PLD had cuisses by the way, and we hardly ever got hit when kiting.
I can recommend bringing someone to throw a few nukes on both, as it will speed it up greatly. Nuhn raged for us, and started resisting Gravity/Bind/Poison/Nukes. But yeah, can always bring RR, bio it and wipe if you want to reset.
lolirizima
Sch/Rdm takes that mofo down in 20m. Parsimony nukes at both ends where you kite it too (you can land Grav near the Colibri camp and get 4 nukes off easily), Bio2 and Helix spells make that chump so simple to solo.
I duo'd this with my RDM friend a while back, while I was on BLM/NIN. RDM/NIN kept dots on it, as well as gravity, and I zone-nuked it to death. Silence wasn't really top of the agenda, as casting times generally helped with zoning. Quite a quick fight, considering, easier than I thought it would be, though I was a little panicked at first.
Oh, if you see TP moves, run away, quickly, they hurt, if they catch you, the RDM found out the hard way.
Apkallu is very easy to duo in this format also, I tend to come on SCH/NIN with my RDM/NIN friend. Dot/Kite. Nuking when it goes into weird frenzy mode speeds up the fight greatly.
Wulgaru, easiest of them all, generally you can just DoT kill it solo on RDM, but this takes a very, very long time. Corsair quick-draws are pretty potent. But I generally most enjoyed the Tank (rdm, or pld) kiting, with a /sam DD (DRK/SAM) WS and TP-chasing it, and kiting when it pulls hate. /SAM is preferable to shadows, as Wulgaru tends to ignore those.
Brass borer, almost as easy as wulgaru, just magic dmg/dot it, it dies fast, but try and pull it to the empty hill in Mount Zhayolm.
(We both had Movement speed+ on Apkallu, Wulgaru and Anta.)
I pull Brass Borer to the Cerb spawn area.
Dea is easy, but a long pull. Watch out, because it pulls in if you aren't careful, but you can pull him all the way around to the south west tower and just kite him around it. Obviously you need to watch out for Crippling Slam, but just keep shadows up. This guy is a huge push over. I forgot to mention, keep shadows and S/I up on the pull.
Nuhn, you pull past the true sight ~DCish Imps outside his spawn points and kite up and down the ledge right outside by the water Lil'Apkallu style.
I recommend duoing or trioing all tier 3s for the sake of time.
Nuhn is easy. You don't even need to stay in the area with the ledge, there's a rock on the way back to it's pop location that it tends to get stuck on. Plus it gives you more of a chance to get some distance to nuke it. Like I said on page1, I wrote out a detailed post on Nuhn before, but it's lost in one of the old ZNM threads. It moves at normal speed, and like I said, it gets caught on the rock, so it's easy to stay out of it's range.
As for Dea, once you've got him to the tower it's cake. Getting him there is a bit annoying though as it will repeatedly lose aggro. Just stay fairly close to it and keep pulling it until you get to the tower. It gets caught on the edges so it's pretty easy to gain distance. Although, it may be more difficult without movement speed gear. Probably still doable though, as bind and gravity aren't too hard to land.
Anantaboga is an easy solo. Pop him, run past the Execution Chamber and out in that open area and just kite him around there. No aggro except a ghost if you get low HP which shouldnt be a big deal. He sings a song every 5 Vana'diel minutes after completion of his previous song. If you're within range, its Requiem, Lullaby, Virelai, Elegy or Finale. If you're not, its a buff song. So just stay out of range, wait for him to sing, step back into range and nuke it. Can do this over and over, takes about 40 minutes solo RDM/NIN with max convert merits and top of the line nuking gear.
I've actually never had issues with Dea deagroing, and I use W-legs. Perhaps it's how I kite it.
For Dea, I stay within sight agro range of it, but out of TP range. I think it draws in when it wants to TP you, which it won't do if you're out of range. I just know if you stay in the mid-range it won't do it to you. Also, I Bio it on pop. Get a little distance before the Treants, cast Sneak. Get a little distance before the Tigers, cast Invis. Don't pop at night, Fomor are an unnecessary complication.
Can someone else verify this?
Here's my experience. We popped Sarameya with 9 people and started fighting. first attempt at this, started off kinda of crazy. Anyway, we only had one PLD to tank this, and we played around with him for what seemed like an hr at 50ish %. The PLD was going down every few minutes and a RDM was backup tanking after the first death. Leaders didn't like the way it was going so they said just wipe and well start fresh. So we wiped, let him regen to full and started saccing a brd to keep him from despawning. When we were ready, we started fighting him again and he raged in like 5-10 minutes on us.
Possible glitch?
Having nobody on hate list resets rage on any mob(don't even need to let them regen a click), ZNM or otherwise in my experience, personally confirmed on Simurgh, Roc, KA, Armed Gears and Gotoh. I haven't raged a tier 4 to find out, but I don't see why it'd be different.
Bumping this to ask a question. I've heard that the gear ZNM was soloable by RDM/NIN with CC, is this still possible with that ZNM raging now? If so, anyone have a strat and how hard it is? I'm taking my BLM secondary character to dual box lol.
What else can cor solo? I really wanna bust out some QD solo!!!
I have a question to anyone who solo'd Chigre, how? =( I fail so much on it ; ;
From my experience, having sneak on you will make dea deaggro. I used invisible and never lose hate from pop to white gate zone.
