Yes but that type of inconsistently will get you one and done in the playoffs, the panthers wont even smell another superbowl till they get rid of John Fox and get a QB that doesnt eye down steve smith's vagina on every passing play.

I still don't know wtf happened to our boy, 205 passes with no picks and then he throws 3 in 7 passes. I know the one was tipped, but the first two he just through right into their hands. I'm hoping they can win out the home stand coming up and still get a shot at the division, but the tie-breaker situation between Bears/Vikes/Pack is going to be messed up if it comes down to it, especially if the Bears beat the Packers in the next game.

Even if they don't make it this year a lot of good came out of it, at least we know we have a solid QB/RB for next year and they can spend some time and money figuring out wtf went wrong on defense.

I know man He will rebound. The defense is a head scratcher though, they need Corners imo. They have names that look good on paper but they get lit the hell up and Tillman and Brown get hurt like every other game. They also aren't getting pressure to force those quick throws we have seen in years past. Like you said, at least they have solidified the QB and RB position, now to work on that Defense, I never thought Id say that about the Bears....

So he screwed up (I mean come on, having a loaded, unregistered gun in a full building? wtf was he thinking?) and he should pay the same consequence that we would in the same situation.

I think a lot of celebrities get off because they have a larger influence on society. For example, giving them slap on the wrists and making them do community service to use their influence to tell youth right from wrong. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry don't have the same type of "power" as a famous singer/athlete.

I think this approach has a more negative effect than positive one. While they are using their influence to do community service to reach out to the 100 kids that were in attendance, the millions of other kids that they didn't talk to do get that same message. Instead they see someone they admire breaking the law and getting minimal to no punishment. So that makes impressionable people think that they will be treated the same. It's really a bad system to allow the rich and famous to live above the law, but money is a hell of a persuader.

Plax gets a slap on the wrist if this is his first arrest (don't feel like researching him). 2 years probation, mandatory firearm contol meetings for 2 months, and 50 hours community service. No jail time.
