Whoa. Marvin Lewis is a freaking beast when compared to all the other coaches since 1991. Losing his starting QB might not have stopped them from going to the Superbowl but they certainly could have won 5-6 more games.

When Lewis had control of the team and personnel decisions (2005) he made good ones. But then Mike Brown stuck his head in again, like always (ie resigning Henry this offseason, keeping Thurman on the roster) and other shit like that.

Brown is an idiot. Him over ruling Lewis and putting Henry back on the team was indeed a joke.

I'm all for Henry, I love his speed and height. I've also seen him around Cincy before and he's been chill since he got back.

I just don't like him undermining Lewis publicly after Lewis said Henry wasn't coming back.

Will be interesting, I think Cleveland is more interested in dumping Savage more than Romeo. Then again is Cowher comes back they will dump any and everyone for him. Too bad he's going to STAY HOME in NC and coach Carolina!!

    One could always hope right?

It's time for some premature MVP discussion after 12 games..

    Who's your MVP 75% of the way through the season? I think if Adrian Peterson carries the Vikings into the playoffs (say they go 3-1 in their last 4 games to finish 10-6) and is still leading the NFL in rushing yards he should win, but QBs have a huge advantage in winning the MVP. One could probably argue Romo because of how bad the 'Boys are without him, but AD is carrying his somewhat inept team (at least offense, and their defense may take a huge hit soon) to the playoffs. Romo just keeps his insanely talented team from underachieving when he's out there. Seriously, they should be able to beat the Rams without Romo. '-';

I know we can't have a Tom Brady-in-2007 performance every year and the MVP award is easy, but no single QB is really impressing me. In the four remaining games, that could change, but I don't think it will. And fuck Warner; I hope he's definitively out of the discussion after his last couple of performances with as many picks as touchdowns. Both Warner/Brees have MVP-like numbers for total passing yards, but they both already have double-digit INTs, and that itself isn't very MVP-like. Brees is also on a mediocre team; although they'd be in playoff contention in other divisions, they're not seeing the postseason in their division. I don't think an 8-8 team should really have the MVP. But who do you guys like and/or hope wins?

Stop throw fuel on the fire, Homo looked good against the fucking Seahawks and the 49ers, replace that with NY Giants, Titans or the Steelers and then you're talking. While I am on the topic, what about Graham Harrell having 2 fingers broken in NINE different places and still playing? Not like that pussy Romo and his hurt Pinky eh?

Seriously you could say AP as well as Matt Ryan ( I know, I know hes a rookie, which makes it even more remarkable) Flacco is playing lights out for a rookie also but not MVP. If I had to choose ONE, I would probably say Ryan considering how hes played and what they did to turn around the culture in Atlanta. I fucking hate the Falcons, but I have to give credit.

How the fuck did I forget about Eli?? See what I mean, even I forgot about them. Everyone gets caught up in the Romo hype machine. I rescind my previous post and say Eli Manning or Matt Ryan.

Like Tyven said, Brees and Warner had it, but they are throwing themselves out of it with 5 ints a game and shit.

So I think another intriguing question is coach of the year. You have people like Sparano and Mike Smith, then you have people like Belicheat and Coughlin managing fairly well with significant injuries.

Orton, Romo, or Portis are my MVP choices. I pick Orton out of those cause he has a beard.

But really what is Eli himself doing? Sure, he's not costing his team games, but his team is amazing. I don't like how the MVP is often the guy taking snaps on the best team in the NFL.

That is a excellent question, I like Sparano personally. But you cant go wrong with Mike Smith either.

Motherfucking right. Plus it will make me Nostradamus seeing as how I said he would win league MVP last season before he was the starter. Plus my team name is "Orton4MVP" lol.

Fisher or Coughlin for Coach of the year. I'd pick Fisher cause I'm an olde Oilers fan.

Sporano is probably Coach of the Year. The magnitude of the Dolphins' turnaround in just a single year is remarkable.

YEAH. romo should have taken a page from brady quinn's book and played with a broken finger on his throwing hand so he could make it worse and have to go on IR. FUCK YEA! why miss a few games when you can just throw away your whole season? HELLZ YEA NIGGA

Harrell had his fingers crushed on his off-hand. Romo's pinky injury was on his throwing hand. >.>; For a QB, it's not really fair to compare the two. But Romo isn't my MVP anyway; I just know a case will be made for him if the Cowboys sneak into the playoffs. Peterson needs some more love than he's getting.

Would have worked for me. I was kind of hoping for that actually lol

Don't rationalize my haterade. Broken finger is a broken finger, I just wanted him to play with him so he would play horribly.
