Taurus mobs have a pretty big sight aggro range, but they are fairly slow moving. Demons are very fast. Often a taurus will aggro you, but not catch up to you, therefore leaving your sneak/ invis up. It will very likely link a demon which will easily catch up to you and hit you, making it seem like it was the demon that aggroed you. Once a demon is linked, it will come after you even with your sneak/ invis still up. This explains 99% of these weird aggros.

there has been a large thread about this before and it was determined a smn or 2 up they are broken and will randomly TS aggro you.

It happened to me and there was def no taur (slept the ele and kindred and was never attacked by a taur)

In either of your two cases, you've been in two times as much Salvage as I have, and I care approximately 50% as much about either.

Yes, it took me a day to respond to you, because I was sitting here all day pressing F5 repeatedly waiting for you to respond. And then once you did, I had to spend over 24 hours crafting the perfect response, because you are just that important to me, the forums, the internet, the planet Earth, and the universe in general. It couldn't possibly be that I didn't get to check the forums or anything like that.

And while I do not go to Salvage myself, I do have friends who go to Salvage. As I am not an inherently selfish person, I care about their desire to have fun and get rewarded for their efforts as well. If you talked to people who play Salvage, you would know that some of the drop rates are beyond abysmal, such as 0 drops out of 75 kills for some mobs. This is ridiculous considering how much money has to be spent upgrading body and head pieces. If Square doesn't want people to have gear, instead of making it fantastically stupid to get, just don't put it in the game.

My point is that Square will gleefully fix an exploit that benefits the players, but will take their time fixing things that screw the players over. Remember when Steam Cleaner wouldn't pop for 3 months? I certainly do.

I dunno. Salvage's drop rates are shitty as hell, but it isn't like my group doesn't have fun doing it. We did Hammerblow, Powderkeg, GG3, Turtle, and boss last night with 6 characters, 2 MNKs, SAM, BRD, RDM, and a dual boxed THF used exclusively for Sacs and TH4. Saw our first pair of Macha's slops in 9 months too, just a week too late.

Why, do you think the devs don't know what the drop rate is? I'm pretty sure the drop rate is exactly what they want it to be. I'd go so far as to guess there is a ton more salvage gear in circulation with so many dupes than they wanted at this point. We most likely have a better chance at a reduced drop rate than an increase. Crying about drop rates is as old as crying about AV and kings. Personally I think people should ask whatever they want. Too many hypocrites on here bashing one line of questions and promoting the ones that are of interest to themselves.
