If you still have your full group after Koralon, there's absolutely no excuse whatsoever to wipe on Emalon, and I'd most likely leave after that, too.


What pisses me off is the people that just flat out leave after Koralon, and then you wipe on Emalon because you have like 18 people.

Use Rawr and sim it, the newest Rawr has had the bug fixed where it was favouring hit and it pretty damn accurate now.

Im using shard since it sims slightly better then the AP one, and its also considered BiS from the elitejerks-thread (tho his setup is hands-down haste-based so no surprise)

I got a new pc yesterday (yes! no more 0-1fps when I go into or out of Dalaran) and I was wondering if I could just copy/paste my entire WoW directory from one pc to another without screwing anything up? I might need to change that config.wtf file or delete it and hope that WoW makes a new one based on my systems configuration.

I still want to dabble into building a Custom UI but I feel like it would be an insurmountable task getting it the way I'm used to now. So instead I just want to keep on using the UI that I have on my old pc which is decent anyway.

You can drag your addons and wtf folder across and it should work but if you've been thinking about building a truly custom Ui use this as the perfect time to try. It's honestly a lot easier than people think.

The new enhsim has that stuff in, but I dont bother using it now theyve finally fixed the hit bug in Rawr.Enhance, Rawr and Enhsim are pretty much giving the same figures now

Rawr is useful for putting together gearsets and gemmings, including imports of armory profile, and the optimizer is pretty top-notch. You can export directly into Enhsim and run a simulation to verify rawr's results (as rawr uses a model and can get wonky with things like hit or haste, overvaluing one) and Enhsim will also spit out EP values for your gear as it stands, which can be used with addons like pawn for quick in-game analysis of possible gear choices.

EJ has threads for both Rawr and Enhsim.

The codeplex is the current project and its development. (for both projects)

like I said, sometimes rawr goes with a ridiculous affinity for hit, or possibly haste. You can edit the "gemming template" to not use the hit gems, or just change them manually. Also, make sure you're checking off your raid buffs, as it does take them into account.

Yeah I had to uncheck a lot. It was wanting me to gem hit until I got to the 17% spell hit, and then it was like pewpewgemattack and I was like ok that makes more sense.

Why does Rawr not work right for me? It's counting my CPG and White DPS as 0 for some reason and idk why. Also when I hit optimize, it tells me that Delicate Dragon's Eye and Nightmare tear don't exist <_> Using v2.2.27

Don't use rawr as a rogue, at all.

I've been using it for warrior, it's decent, but it worries me how high it rates Marrowstrike from Htoc (agi+arp) over some weapons with str and arp.
