Wtf just happened. I was standing in dalaran, and I take damage for about 3k called Arc Lightning. After it's duration, it bounced to someone near me, shocked them, and then bounced back to me for another 3k and then onto someone else. My health hasn't regened at all either. O-o

Apparently it's a Loken debuff/spell. Someone left HoL with it on and passed it onto others in Dal.

Wasn't there some "Plague" type debuff that acted similar a while back when some guys did a dungeon and brought it back to a city?

Oh yeah. he transfered it to his pet and it exploded killing a lot of people.

What spreadsheet are warriors using? Rawr doesn't seem right, it rates my 212dps agi+ polearm higher than some 255dps str weapons.

Youe using the wrong version for enh shamans, get the patch for it from the rawr topic on elitist jerks, it fixes the hit problem

Any decent places to farm Relics of Ulduar?

Need to get Hodir rep up and that wee tunnel with the Exhausted workers people always recommend is always packed.

AH or there's some caves north of camp tunkalo, like near the coastline ish. There's wind dudes that drop them and crystallized air and relics. When you kill one you get a speed buff for 8 seconds or something.

the caves of exhausted vyrkul in the blue chick towns is a pretty popular spot, if you're a class with strong aoe you can get a fuckton if no one is competing against you. another good spot is the library guardian mechanical mobs, they drop about 50% of the time.

Need to gem Spectral Kris and Embrace of Madness, both are Blue Sockets (+4 Crit Rating, +6 Int respectively).

Should I gem them straight +23 SP with a Red, or go for 12SP/10Spi (12SP/15Stam?) from a Purple to get the Socket Bonus?

If you don't need the 2 blue gems to activate your meta then no.

Unless going for ArP combat, every single socket should be +20Agi delicate cardinal, nothing else except the nightmares tear for meta requirement.

Depends on the class, but I think for the most part they're amazing. You can find gear as you level that may rival or beat the stats on a BoA weapon/armor, you don't even GET trinkets until about level 50 and unless you get lucky or farm them out a ton you won't get more than one good one until Northrend.

Leveling is ALL ABOUT killing mobs, so trinkets that work when you kill mobs are going to go off pretty often. Mages can really make use of them for the mana, rogues/warriors will get some healing after each kill (I've lived to kill mobs because I killed one of them and my trinket healed me lol) etc.

I still use one of my BoA SP trinkets on my warlock (during heroics only but details) and I've cleared ToC25, there isn't a SP trinket from heroics aside from the ilvl 200 heroism ones...

Socket bonuses make most yellow slots actually better than 20agi. Use the 10agi 10crit orange gem, it should be a bit better than the 20atk 10crit ones.

Consult a spreadsheet to be sure but the difference between gemming for the bonus and going for 20agi is usually like 1-4 dps so it's hardly anything to worry about.

If you use a /tar macro, is there any way to know where the fuck is your target in the event you find it (ie: in a cavern with multiple floor).


In FFXI, I would just autolock on it, but in WoW, I have no clue how to find it (quickly).

Any channeled spell will turn you directly toward your target, if it's in range and in your frontal 180º. If you don't have a channeled spell to use, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=42420 and other focusing lenses are usable items that channel. That's about the best I've been able to come up with, but it's not a great solution.
