I'm still rocking some greens and mostly blues and since it dropped 219 gear like HTOC does I wasn't sure if it was comparable.

Just queue for random heroics, you'll gear up plenty fine.
FoS is actually easier than ToC. I've had groups that couldn't deal with the rogue or warrior just cause they loved to stand in the pretty green poision.
Though you'll get your fair share of wipes on the second boss when people still realize they are DPSing with the debuff on them.
Quick Arcane Mage Question.
What's the priority list for Focus Magic Targets? I'm often in groups without another caster DPS so you can forget about 'the other mage, warlock, shadow priest or oomkin' since I really want to know if I should do the pally tank over the ret pally over the mut rogue, etc etc.
Isn't there a limit to how many times a day you can do the same dungeon? I thought it was 5 times and I'm pretty sure I've done toc reg 5 times but it doesn't show it being locked.
Has anyone noticed an increase in random heroic seeking speed by clicking the button that says you can lead a group or something like that. I don't like being in charge so I don't click it but if it would speed it up I'll do it.
If you do the random dungeon thing, it doesn't count towards the lockout thingy.
It's 5 times per hour, and you can do it as many times as you want per day.
For the random heroic, it does ignore lockouts, however I think if you did a heroic already it is less likely to que for that one as it is for it to que for one you haven't done yet.
A lot of the PuGs I end up in don't have one though so I tend to stick it on the healer since they're always casting something.
Speaking of Arcane Mage, what's the rotation you guys use?
I do the AB to 4 using Arcane Missle if the proc is up otherwise carry on with AB until the proc happens but I think my DPS could be better.
Recently tried just spamming AB until my Mana is down to 30% or so then hitting AM+Mana Gem then going back to the 4xStack > AM if proc and I think my DPS has gone up but I swing between 3k and 5k DPS on bosses given stupid gimmicks and random shit so no clue which is best.
I'm just learning the spec but in general I stack 4AB then ABAM. If a mob has < 25k HP and there are no other targets to switch to I ABAM as soon as it procs.
EJ consensus atm:
AB spam @4 ~ 2% dmg increase over ab4mb.
200%++ mana cost increase.
Spam @ 4 is still your theoretical dump rotation, but with the minimal difference, if there's any reason at all to be "conservative" and go to ab4mb, you pretty much always should.
For stuff like Gormok I'll go with full ab spam, for anything that's really challenging at the end I'll be careful these days, I've moved into proper glyphs and molten armor now, so no mana gem glyph, no t7 bonus ether, and no mage armor, and yeah... the punishment for ooming at bad times these days is harsh on mage.
Do heroic training dummies take severely reduced magic damage? After testing unholy DK dps, my unholy blight ticked for 1 the whole time. My wandering plagues ticked for 1 majority of the time and some for a little higher putting the average tic (over 1.4m damage) at 22 dmg per tick. Now against the other dummies so I can AoE them, my necrosis/UB/WP are hitting for 1 each time. Wtf :/?
I'm curious, is Blood still the best single target DPS spec or did Unholy get a lot better since 3.3?
Unholy is the strongest single target and AoE spec for DK right now.
Ah sweet. Guess I'm going to go respec my DK then. :D
This spec any good? http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#jfmMZZfMhIxcdg0uxducqo\
Not sure what to grab. Extra Runic Power, More Crit or Some random junk in Unholy.
Here's your one stop source for all that is Unholy.

Is there any way to disable the icon glow when bars finish when using the Forte spell timer? It's ugly and i'd rather not have it.
Edit: found out myself, it's cast time glow and you can't disable just the icon glow.
Don't forget all dps specs use blood presence.
