Is there any reason not to use Army of the dead on bosses that have no adds? I used to think that the ghouls would taunt so I never used it unless it was something like the black knight phase 2 but I learned that they don't taunt bosses so when is it safe to use?
Oh, 1 more thing. Is unholy the best raid spec? I remember after 3.3 and the SS buff I changed to unholy but then they nerfed SS back right away and I just changed back to blood without really trying it. I really only see unholy DK's at the top so is that the best spec regardless of gear (im like 4900 GS) or more for top end dk's
How is it bad? It gives the healer a break for a little bit. The boss just attacks the army dudes until they are all dead.
It's bad because it ANNOYS THE FUCK OUT OF THE TANK.
What's better for Raid DPS, Fury or Arms? I can't seem to break 3.7-3.9 on Bosses and I'm wondering if Arms has better output.
Fury is supposed to be better in most raids, especially at higher gear levels and if there's any raid damage.
But I prefer arms, I've not gotten into raiding much to see just how well I can do it. It's a more fun spec, imo. What is your fury gear like? I'm at 4.6k gs or so and I'm pretty sure I do more dps than that.
Someone mentioned to me about an addon that makes it so when you press your button macros, it registers for when you press down rather than release. Anyone know what this would be called?
SnowfallKeyPress?

Arms until you have full 232+ gear or equivalents, weapons(especially mainhand) being most important.
Arms damage is eventually restricted at higher gear levels by the global cooldown(GCD), at which point better gear helps a little, but nowhere near as much as fury. its especially annoying since warrior GCD does not benefit from haste.
Fury is not GCD limited, but rage limited, so better gear is always = more damage, as is anything else that provides more rage e.g. taking AoE damage(festergut is great as fury)
As fury you want to be doing as a priority system:
Whirlwind > Bloodthirst > Bloodsurge slam procs > Heroic strikes to dump excess rage when over 50rage
I don't have a gearscore addon but I'll leave my armory link.

The rotation seemed pretty simple but I think I was just spamming Heroic Strike every time I had enough rage to use it. I think that might have been one of my problems.
I'm also confused as to what I should be gemming for, STR or ArP? I looked at some top guild's warriors and I saw them all gemming ArP so that's how I came up with a decision, lol.
@ Rivero;
Yes spamming Heroic Strike like that will cripple your dps, Whirlwind and Bloodthirst are your top priorities. also remember that when there are 2 or more targets to switch to using cleave instead of Heroic strike.
Get Landsouls spreadsheet from Elitst Jerks forums and learn to use it, its an essential for a raiding dps warrior. It will answer any problems you have over gearing/gemming. You need Excel to run it, a free BETA of Excel 2010 is available from Microsoft right now. Make sure to set your raid buffs to match your usual raid setup.
Also:
1) Get Faceplate of Thunderous rampage from badges ASAP, gem it with AGI+Crit meta and a nightmare tear, that will activate both your Meta AND the helm's socket bonus.
2) Drop the Dragons blood trinket, you only need 164 Hit rating as a fury warrior with the Precision talent at 3/3. More hit does help a little, but you would be much better off with other stats. Needle Encrusted Scorpion or Incisor Fragment are the best options open to you, and your banner of Victory is fine for now. You want to gem so that you hit 100% armor penetration while needle-encrusted scorpion proc is active, then STR in any leftover slots. You are not far off in your current gear, so getting a Needle Encrusted scorpion should be one of your top priorities.. without it STR would be approx 10% more beneficial than armor pen point-for-point with your current gear.
3) Get Sons of Hodir and Ebon Blade rep for Head and shoulder enchants, doesnt take long.
4) Get Vambraces of Unholy command from H ToC, or save to have Titanium Spikeguards crafted.
5) Try to maintain 26/26 Expertise, that is the dodge hard cap when attacking a mob from behind(like you always should be)
Past those few points you have made a decent start, learn to love the spreadsheet if you will be spending a lot of time on warrior..
Thanks for some of the tips. Much appreciated Aesctaa. :D
I'm like 0/10 on the damn trinket. : (
I can't really think of any cleaving bosses lol, and why is a healer that close to anub. Although I wouldn't pop army on anub since he is around for a whole 5 seconds and it's more or less a waste
Smash on the final boss of UTK. Pound goes all the way out to the edge of the platform in the direction the tank is standing in. I've cleaved a healer with anub bugged out after coming up from burrow. He's obviously supposed to be facing me, and takes out half the platform. All kinds of reason to not use it, especially with all the bosses either spraying stuff all over the place, or whirlwinding etc.
pound has limited range, I don't take dmg from it even as tank, although people can get owned in the face if you run at the wrong time and he ends up aiming a different direction than he's pointing
