I'm sure it's been asked a million times, but when is Cataclysm being released? I thought it was April 2010 but I heard it was pushed back.

Not a chance it's that early. As far as I know the beta has yet to begin and the WotLK beta was a pretty big and long event.

April sounds crazy early, that means people would only get two full months with heroic ICC content. Not nearly enough to gear your raid to their contentment even in strict 10-man guilds.

Summer at the earliest is where I'd put my money, with stuff leaking out well in advance of Blizzcon 2010.

With how they're backing off talking about Cataclysm and have been hinting at some serious changes that aren't under the heading of "Cataclysm will fix it," I don't expect the next expansion before the winter holidays. Maybe November, but I'd be shocked if it was earlier than September.

Random Question:

I quit WoW about a year and a half ago, and I tried to reactivate my account the other day and it wouldn't let me. I called blizzard, got my account back and started to play again.

So after looking over my account some more, it seems like I got hacked 3 months ago. Nothing on my account was lost or anything (I lost 15$ irl because they charged my bank account on a deactivated credit card for the month the goldsellers played...) But now I have 3 goldseller mules with lots(?) of gold, and lots of expensive looking items.

So I guess my question is, am I at any risk for getting banned because of this? Is it okay on WoW to sell gold(blizzards standpoint)? (.... if I can I want to sell some to make my 15$ back lol....) If I were to give some random person all my gold would they be in trouble to? And how did they get my password (haven't logged in for over a year so its rather strange...)

I don't think gold sellers actually sell gold via the character they farm on. I think it's more of they trade it to a mule and trade the gold to people, just to be safe. I think you are alright.

Can I go from Draenei to Orc? I'm a Warrior if it matters.

5-7 is faaast

25-30 is average

10-15 is "good"

the first one goes reeeeally fast cuz people haven't really split out as much, and of course heroism

If you are having trouble with factionchamps, get yourself some DKs.. 20-30k dps because of how diseases interface with that fight. so long as you are not entirely reliant on breakable CC(you shouldnt be, at least on normal mode). Also make sure your dispels are flying nonstop.

Other than that, unless all your dps are pulling 3k or something god awful the first 1-2 healers should melt. check you got a MS debuff going on them, and pop BL/heroism a few after engaging.

Also iirc the healer pally is the one you really want to zerg, rest ain't so bad.

In ToGC, should you avoid aoe completely to not break CC? I'm kinda confused as to what to do on ret or prot, since pretty much every move come under the form of an aoe.

I have never pulled anywhere near 20k-30k on FC in 25man, and I have an itchy pestilence finger

EDIT: In ToGC, yes, you need to do a lot of planning and be very very careful for that. But in ToC25, it's pretty much just purgepurgepurgepurge and have some rogue play with a healer.

I eventually just swapped divine storm and consecration completely off my bars for togc25.

On my recount the top Unholy DK Usually starts at 30-35, and tapers off to 10-20 by the time the fight ends as things die, last run i did the sole DK ended up at 20k even.

Oh are you serious, death and decay works against them? I thought they took 75% less damage from AoE effects.

they do, skillstorm or cleave for example are near useless, but since diseases(including D&D) are credited as singletarget DoTs to whatever happens to be in the area of effect, DKs are way OP for that fight.
