I mean, can you get credit for Home Alone/Bad Example/Hard Knocks with the wolvar/oracle orphans out. They were introduced after the achievements so I'm just wondering..

Friend says yes, easy way to check of course is to get one out and do a daily quest.

Started back up my DK. I have some decent gear. No T10 yet. I've always been Blood in the past so tried Unholy spec today seems great DPS again multiple mobs, but against single target I seem to do lower DPS compared to Blood. Is that normal? My DK has about 232/245 gear a few 264, and 251 weapon. Sitting at 5.2k GS.

That's been my experience. At t9ish (and below) levels blood does better single target damage, but once you get to t10+ SS really scales well and seems to catch up. Or at least I assume it does as everyone is always unholy dps.

Does Blood do good damage in PVP?

I hear horror stories of SS crits for 1K on plate, but my friend said he was trying out blood in battlegrounds the other day and getting 12K heart strikes, and he's still wearing last season's gear. I know I've got hit for an 8K Death Strike through 1K resil.

It just seems like that would be kind of retarded with how they can set-up their runes to spam heart strikes and death strikes with blood tap and empowered rune weapon and to top it all off they can have 50% damage increase with dancing rune weapon out.

Anyways, I'm leveling my DK, he's 70 atm, getting ready to roll noobs in BGs. I know unholy is the only viable arena spec, but I'm not planning on doing anything serious with this guy.

Unholy just has annoying shit to deal with. Ghoul, ghoul stun, desecration, undispellable diseases, etc.

Another DK question. Before getting any T10 gear should I get sigil of the hanged man first or try to get 2 T10 pieces for atleast the 2 set bonus?

I'd get 2 t10 first, our 245 sigil is really good, also if you are lacking trinkets can get harkumi trinket, then save for 2pc t10.

"Actually virulence is considered superior because the uptime on SotHM proc is even less guaranteed than Virulence's. Mobility fight, frequent target switching, periods of no hits? Stacks fall off. Fights like Dreamwalker, Putricide, and such, uptime on SotHM is 50% or less.
Fights like Festergut, its 95%.

Virulence has a steady uptime average of 75%, in all fights.
Even EJ, whom i disagree with regularly recommends Virulence over Hanged Man. At the very least, make it the very LAST thing you buy with frost badges as anything else is a more certain upgrade to dps, where this sigil is most of the time "only as good as" Virulence, is some times inferior, and only out does it on certain fights.

Special note for blood spec: no, this sigil outright sucks for you, you will never get 3 stacks with bloods rotation."

I played DK pre-patch 3.3 and that triumph badges were common. And Sigil of the Vengeful Heart was the superior sigil for Blood DK DPS. So yeah now trying to rework my gear and looking to get this sigil replaced.

I just replaced my Sigil with Virulence and proc rate seems amazingly good. Good enough to get 2 T10 first probably.
Not too worried about trinkets I can get WFS from ICC10. I have BoV right now which is a decent trinket till I can get a better one.

DKs frost priority is 4pc t10. Then the cape, then the belt if you need it and then the sigil.

Well I'm dualspec. Unholy as DPS spec right now awesome DPS on trash mobs and slightly less on single target mobs.

Screw the hanged man sigil, you wont lose very much even on fights like Festergut just using virulence. I've yet to get hanged man and probably never will, selling saronite to guild for dkp right now.

Ok so my hunter has been 80 for 12hours now, got the BOE 245 bracers and leather chest so far, nesingwary 4000, like 2 232's from toc10.

If you were in 100% greens and fresh 80 how would you spend triumphs first? I'm thinking either mirror of truth to replace one of my 2 green trinks, or any t9 piece to replace lowest gearscore items first.

Spam icc5mans until you can get into heroic versions, then do those until you fill out in a lot of slots and spend all your emblems on what's left, imo.

Should probably go for the important slots first, like head for Meta socket, Trinkets, stuff like that. Getting the gearscore to do HPOS/HFOS is really easy but I can't even enter HHOR on my rogue yet and hes at like 4700.

Head/shoulder/body/legs/hands slot drop very often in raids, I think I would go for trinket and rings first since they get outdated slower.


I would buy ilvl245 bracers and feet on AH for 1k gold as well(if you have the money). It should last a while until you get lucky in ICC.

Oh I meant before raids, I know that since my Rogue isn't 5k+ GS it can't get into raids and it's DPSed suffered without a meta.
