boe 245s were bracers and chest, there were no boots iirc

Chest is still pretty good (better than any raw triumph options) though replaceable by frost badge loot. For boots you'll have to step back to runed orb gear or forward to primordial saronite.

I grabbed the leather chest and mail bracers BOE so that I'd get hitcapped. It was amazing how cheap they were.

I did already get a helm with a meta from toc10 so I'm good fora bit there. Gonna look into runed orb BOE's now though, mail boots might be decent. It looks like mirror of truth will be hard to replace, and considering I was using green trinkets it's probably not a bad upgrade so I'll stick with that for now. Thanks.

Hmm, thought I asked, but my post is gone apparently (or in the wrong thread).

Is there any pvp guide for paladin (prot or ret). I don't know what spec I should use, and how I should gears myself. I'm aiming for arena achievement and stuff like wrecking ball.

Anybody a frost DK that can suggest ways to track Rime procs?

Don't wanna use powerauras, Rime is the only thing I'd use it for among the chars I have right now and don't want to deal with all that config for one class button lol.

I'd leave it be and just use the MSBT text popup if not for the fact that I tank with the frost spec so it's harder for me to notice when I'm busy watching a ton of other stuff.

Not sure what you mean by that, powerauras is set up one ability/proc/whatever at a time. Setting it up to just track rime would literally take like one minute.

that's a stupid reason to not use power auras....

you seriously open power auras
> new
> choose your icon/size/opacity
> type chill of the grave in the buff spot
> click the checkbox twice for in combat and whatever other settings you want
> preview it and get your icon settings correct
> u r dun grts.

that setup for KB and rime proc took 1 minute. the most time consuming part of the whole thing is getting your icons the way you want it(if you're obsessive and want them perfect color/size/shape/etc)

Probably a dumb question but hit 80 on my warrior and I don't know how to tank with it, any rotation I should follow or tips?

Yeah ok so powerauras was easy as fark, idk what my problem was before lol. Maybe it's the fact that last time I messed with it I was still noob to some things and tried to put in the name of the talent (since "Rime!" is what comes up with MSBT/SCT) and not the buff proc or something.

TellMeWhen is very very usefull for watchig procs from talents or what have you.

I have it set up on my warlock to show decimation procs t10 procs etc etc, warrior to show when i get instant cast slam, it is a very usefull addon that i would recomend to every class/spec.

I prefer NeedToKnow addon to tell you when you want to know when somethhing procs and how long your dots stay up.

You can also select the option to add the icon of the buff/debuff its not in the screenshot cause i don't have one of my own UI.

Try looking at elitistjerks. Anyway basicly what you want to aim for is getting def cap atleast 535 is good enough for heroics.

Keep Shield Slam/Shield Block/Thunder Clap on CD when there's multimobs Shockwave/Thunder clap will be your top priority. Also Revenge on proc also throw in some Cleaves. And as for CDs Last Stand/Shield Wall for some HP/Def buff. That's pretty much the basic thing.

Hey how the fuck do you hunters know when to Explosive shot after LnL procs?

I saw something about waiting .5seconds after the gcd lol... So for now I've just been completely guessing. Press it > gcd > gcd is up > press it. Seems there should be a more efficient way. I use MSBT so I know when it procs, but because of the way it works something I'll watch the damage tick and wait to press it again. I don't think powerauras would make this any easier but if there is an addon or a way to control it more or be more efficient that would be great.

This is going to be hard to explain. You know the arrow on the Explosive shot Debuff on the bosses debuff is basicly a box with a / in it, when the rotational counter for the debuff is at the bottom left corner of that debuff box is about the right time to shoot your next assplosive shit. Hopefully someone can explain it better.

Judging by that statement then...

The debuff is 2 seconds so bottom left corner is about .8~.7 seconds. If you have a debuff watcher, just watch for that sub-1sec mark and given latency+reaction time you should be hitting it just about right.

Pretty much spot on, all hunter shots take 0.5 seconds between firing and taking effect. From what I said with my personal latency shooting at 0.75 secs left on the debuff will allow the last tick of assplosive to tick then the fresh debuff lands just as the old one expires.

Yeah that makes sense then, and would be why forums say "Shoot the shot, wait for gcd to be up, wait half second, fire shot" Plus letency and how shots work it makes sense.

I guess the easiest way is to just get a feel for it, I think I have it already but with how I have MSBT setup, it gets confusing seeing the ticks and knowing when the last one ended and next one started. Obviously you want to count 9 ticks, and if you did in the shortest amount of time possible you win.

Was hoping for a more colorful or gigantic buff/button popup or addon that screamed at me, or even powerauras since I don't currently use powerauras.
