so I was only about a 1000 off still close!

my dps is soorta failing atm since my hit ratings absolute shit atm (its like 2-3% from 8% haha) and I don't want to resocket /wait for gear drop >.>

on a random note, getting naxx 25 down to average 3 hours a day is nice.

edit: I've not seen really any warlocks ever get top5.. from pugs with warlocks geared with 25man stuff from other top guilds either.

of all plate DPSers, Retris will probably always end up last. Fury are incredible these days while DKs tend to perform better in equal gear.
Also, my Retri feels ok during trash because of it's AoE output while it really falls behind on boss fights : basically I have no particular cooldown to burn except for one trinket and AW.
They'd introduce something that builds up during longer fights, like a different Vengeance maybe...

I'm bored of my rogue, and I had a druid i leveled to 50, that my sister took to 69 - I was going to take it to 80 instead of a friends 70war or my own 61hunter (or 55dk).

It's fun right? People i know that play boomkin claim its their favorite class in the game, and healing as druid always appealed to me, plus i could tank...

I just don't want to waste 25$ when I have a 61hunter, 55dk, or 70war (but that war isn't in my own name).

druid is boring until you get cat form at 20. Then it gets fun. Depends on your tolerance for bullshit deaths and slow-casting nukes for 19 levels :D

Those seem like really weak dps numbers to me for patch, but the kill time is pretty decent at least. Big guilds I see locks hunters mages always on top, with warriors right behind... then there is the occasional shaman that manages top 3 randomly.

Unless you meant you just like backup healing then sure.

Get itemrack or some other mod to handle your inventory swaps.

Also, yes, you have to specialize pretty much. Can't do everything at once, but you can be pretty decent at the "others" with some work.

This is what I was thinking, sorry wafik but you're the last person I expected to hear from lmao.

Like I said, druid is 69 already, and I didn't mention this but I've had about 7 different classes at 70 already including paladin so I understand the gear set thing lol. Being a prot pally, there were lots of times where I was healing in tank spec, I'm used to carrying different sets of gear and prepared for 3.1.

Since I only have 1 class at 80, well really, because I only have 1 class at 80 I was curious. Rogue got boring fast, it might pick up, it might not, but not too many classes have dulled out for me so quickly like this one did. Thats why I was asking if druid is fun. I loved tanking in tbc, so the idea of druid/war/dk/pally appeals. I healed in bc on pally too, so druid/pally appeals. And I played casters and melee dps, so my 61hunter, 55dk, and boomkin appeals. Just wondering if it's fun to transfer/level the druid before I waste some time and money.

Aurik. How is healing on druid now? Any more fun/less fun? I noticed you have a shit-ton of haste lol. Anyone MT/OT as a bear? I have a friend that swears by boomkin and another that does feral, so I know they are at least fun, just trying to get all around opinions I guess.

I like druid healing. It takes a lot of quick decision making to make it good, but that's right up my alley and it's borderline broken how strong it can be.

I have very limited experience with Druids, but my wife doesn't like them as tanks when she's healing on Shaman. She says they take damage too fast, which isn't a problem with her mana, she doesn't run out, but Shaman isn't the best at single target healing and if something's taking too much damage too fast, the Shaman won't keep up. Whether that's due to bad Druids, or Druids not being able to get up to 100% avoidance, I don't know.

I do know Druids can tank content outside of instances very nicely when not specced for it, though.

If you're choosing between Paladin and Druid, I've heard Paladin is the busiest of the tank jobs with 3.0.3+ (no idea what it was like before Wrath, and having some experience trying Prot out myself, I don't get a spare GCD at all).

Wafik: I hope you're not too spoiled by the triple exp! It ends now. (Until you level up another character. Afterwhich, you can grant your recruiter a character straight to 60 - 30 from the first character, and 30 from the second. It's absolutely awesome.)

yeah its weird but thats under 3min kill so guess its working!

most don't use buffs or flasks or anything so, it probably seems low overall. We all just kinda go for achievements... now if people don't seemingly try to suicide constantly... I'd have both achievements for the 310 heroic/non heroic raids ;/

Wiz i wasn't considering another paladin I just tossed it in there since it tanks, I used to be paladin and loved it, but i wouldn't level it again.

The druid is 69, it's a clear choice. The only problem with it's decision is that its 25$ to get it back, I could level a dk for free, and I might have access to a 70war with bs+mining at 375 already but the war is a separate account. That's why I asked if druid was fun. Is it worth 25$? And it most likely is since it's a hybrid, probably the largest difference from rogue since I could tank, heal, or cast.

We arent the best guild in the world, but this was our last Patch: http://wowwebstats.com/v523235sw23wy?s=372981-402683. The ret pally doesn't have very good gear (Jawbone, no surge needle, no card, some 10 man gear) and still did 4500. I can't see how you can say Ret is bad, I bet if he had betrayer he could get to 5000.

I'll tell you from an experience resto shaman standpoint, I've tried every single sort of set up in terms of stats and a shaman is VERY good at single target healing if they want to be. The druid probably wasn't doing the best possible job, and your wife was doing just fine. Riptide > Healing Wave > Healing Wave for huge spikes is extremely efficient single target healing.

We've pretty much confirmed he wasn't very good. We had him come with us again tonight for Heroic Halls of Stone, and while 35k HP is respectable, it means nothing if it drops just as fast as my 13k HP on Ret. We weren't able to get past Brann's event and we had a lot of unnecessary death from myself and the Rogue simply because my wife and the DPS Shaman couldn't keep us healed enough - so much effort was being put into keeping the tank afloat. I was casting Holy Lights back to back to keep myself alive while trying to DPS and was still dying from normal AOEs (not ones you have to watch for and run the fuck away from).
