Is it better for a Fury warrior to stack STR or ARP? or a blend of both? See people using different and preaching the other is better.

I wanna say this isn't really necessary anymore after they made the random dungeon tool. We started playing on Friday and boytoy's playtime is limited. We're almost 40 already though because we always have that flagged and just do quests until it pops. Think we get a dungeon like every 5-6 minutes lol. (until we hit X6-X7, inwhich we switch to BG queuing which also gives a lot if you do the call to arms ones) And those give lots of xp.

And considering it's a battlegroup instead of just server, he doesn't really need to be on a heavy populated one. And it still means he can be a dps or healer and still get some nice gear.

Can a clothes solo karazhan? Zul Gurub? Can you solo old heroic 5 (hell, can solo the lv80 5men heroic with icc gears)? Can you solo most old achievement? Old grind rep?

Leveling and raiding at 80 can be done easily on any jobs now, but if you're a completionist, I think it helps to play a tank jobs. Being a tank give you much more freedom when you explore, and make you less dependant to others. Not everyone cares about it, so for most people, any class will be fine.

Kaylia, the random dungeon works on the lower level dungeons too. I didn't mean to imply they can solo them, I meant it's easy to level/get groups for them because of it. Hell it's been me and boytoy and we've did SM a bunch of times just from the random dungeon tool yesterday and got 3 levels out of it. Before I quit, they had the random dungeon seeking tool (you still had to run to the dugeon or get ported, and it wasn't cross-server), and I had gotten priest to 50 basically doing that and soloing. And now it's even easier.


Plus fyi, for the low level dungeons, instead of frost/triumph tokens, you get a bag that gives you a random blue each time you complete it. So ya you can get really decent gear while leveling.

Configure landsoul's spreadsheet for your personal setup for the most accurate answer, but banner is probably better I think. NES isn't actually that good a trinket even as an ARP softcapping tool >_>

So far I know I'm going to buy Ring of Rotting Sinew and Wodins Lucky necklace.
I don't know if I can afford to get the 264 ICC crafted items or ICC BoEs but which ones are good anyways?
Which ToC/Ulduar items are good to get/will not be replaced by Triumph badges easily?
Darkmoon Card: Greatness? Or did the advent of NES kind of make that not worth buying?
Tsteel Destroyers until I can get Tyrannicals?

go prot, roll fury. my warrior has every boe item imaginable for prot/fury and shadow's edge/byrn troll. there is essentially no reason to go fury until you get NIS and can soft cap arp, otherwise you'll just do subpar. you'll get a lot more raids and a lot more loot if you tank your way to a good fury set.

as well, i probably wouldn't buy those crafted icc items for fury. most of them are terrible.

I see more shitty tanks tanking heroics now then ever before. And lets face it, you'll gear up your tank and dps specs with T. emblem gear faster than just dps spec.

As for BoE 245 Body/Bracers are around 3k each, depends on server. But they're good baseline body/bracers.

I know this. I'm sure you will do some of them while leveling, but I doubt you will be able to do every outland heroic, raid, grind every rep to exalted, and complete every dungeon related quests without outleveling the dungeon finder.

Like I said, if you don't care about missing out on old stuff, it probably doesn't matter, but if you're a completionist, being a tank is very helpful since you can do everything alone at your own pace. It means more chance at rare mount, easier grind rep, easier questing for loremaster.

For leveling, I agree entirely with you, any classes can get into dungeon easily, and being a tank doesnt matter.

For outleveling you could do that fancy stop all exp gained thing, but fuck it would take a while if you couldn't /invincible as a tank and do it yourself later instead

How is Strand of the Ancients(call to arms) leveling compared to AV Call to arms leveling? Is there a large difference between experience gained?

I don't know why you're getting on this whole needing to do every dungeon thing from my posts when I was initially responding to this:

If you end up picking the game, make sure to pick a good server with lot of people. It makes everything easier.

My point was just that it isn't as much of a necessity as it used to be to be on a high pop server since both dungeons and bgs are battle groups now.

I just didn't want the guy thinking he really should lvl a pali/druid if he didn't want to incase there wasn't a lot on his server thinking he wouldn't get groups, because it is really easy on any job.
