Random question, is there any way to remove that little banner that displays the raid size? eg: numeric 25 or 10 depending on raid. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I couldn't find it in the settings or moveanything.

Squeenix minimap lets you remove it. I'm sure others do as well.

What rogue-specific addons do I need to keep track of combo points, poisons, etc? Can I make ForteXorcist work?

I'm not sure if combo points are possible with Forte but everything else is. You can use your unit frames, power auras or combat text (MSBT, Parrot, etc.) to track combo points.

I use http://www.wowinterface.com/download...opointbar.html on my rogue for monitoring cp. Also, for rogue specific cooldowns I use needtoknow: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...eedToKnow.html. But you could use any timer addon to track the same stuff.

Ok managed to configured my PS2 pad to play WoW casually with.

The last thing I guess is I need to learn how to make macros, but I was wondering if there's a way (hack/addon) to menu all/some of my spells/abilities/etc into a menu like thing similar to FFXI or any other FF? haha - not too important since I've got the most important spells/abilities keyed onto the L/R buttons etc.

This is for soloing/casual purposes of course, if in emergency I will put down my controller and my mouse/keyboard is within reach as I have experimented with already. I just want to make it so I'm playing in a more relaxed manner (leant back) instead of continously reaching forward on my keyboard.

I'll toy with the macro system after work tommorow though and see, I haven't read up on it yet.

you need to keybind everything you will ever use or start using mouse + kb
if you are serious about trying this use an actionbar addon, some of them will give you more bars to page through and that may help with the limited keys you have available for binds

He is not wrong, unless blizzard changes mind (wont happen since they dont want lvl80 worgens too soon)

Combo points? Nugcombo, I like the striped version.

Poisons? Any buff addon will work for that. Ebb buffalo anything.

Clearly just level the Worgen, you'll get 85 in less than 3 months if you have any BoA gear (unless you're super slow)

atm you could probably do 1->80 in 3-4 weeks... with no BOA gear, no ingame mods for quests, and not knowing any of the ally quests (which is what I'm doing atm!). This includes wow's ingame "guide" thing... no help from it (vague descriptions and no indicators on map)

^ its very doable as long as you use wowhead and the dungeon tool.

Edit: With Heilrooms (no ring though) it took me 7d12h of /played to get lvl80 on a druid leveled as feral and tank/healer for randoms. Real time about 1 month or 2 since I waited a whole week for rested bonus.

I did 1-80 on my warrior in 20 days, and I wasn't even spending that much time leveling it, plus once I hit 70 I started going very slow (1-2 levels a day) because I was tabbing out every 10 minutes to watch the MLG's. I have no doubt you could do 1-80 in a week with no BOA gear .

Anyways a question of my own, what the fuck am I doing wrong with my warrior? I'm hitting barely above 2000 DPS single target at the moment at 80, I'm using around half epics half blues with Tyrannical/Garfrost hammer. Rotation is Bloodthirst > Whirlwind > Slam proc > HS if over 70 rage because I'm rage starved if I do it lower. I don't really want to link my armory because I'd get torn to shreds for some of my enchants/gems but I mean, I hit 2000 DPS on my Ret Paladin at 70 using +8 Strength gems so I kind of doubt its a problem with gems.

can't wowhead cata quests, since its not on there, worg hunter is my first ally.. so no heirloom items on it, can't use dungeon tool , not enough on servers to do that... I'm purely leveling off killing mobs and basically.. guessing/reading quest descriptions and searching. Pretty much I'm lvling as a complete newbie.. that knows how to play hunter thats it

Between that and raiding on live servers.. as I said at the rate I'm lvling It'll probably be 2-3 weeks before I hit 80 (or possibly higher). If I had heirloom items/could find quest locations actually, and use the lfg dungeon tool I could probably do it in about 1 week or less even without knowing a single ally quest hub etc.

First off, Paladin gets more of their dps innately, Warrior is more gear dependent.

Secondly, where are you establishing these numbers? 5man? A dummy? Do you have appropriate buffs/debuffs on the dummy? If not, it's not a very good test >_>
