An extra 20% hp (essentially) on a 1min cd is pretty incredible, I wouldn't sell that short. It's better as a tank transition than popping shield wall is, and can even be combined with other cooldowns for even more help if you need it. I love my bear druid 4pc since it gives me "double barkskin".
Yeah, on lich king in particular the 4 piece is pretty powerful. You can string it into a rotation with shield wall and last stand (talented / glyphed to be 2 min cooldowns) so you always have an "out" for every soul reaper.
idk man i do pretty well on my war in alt runs. if i felt like reading the random question thread about wars on ej(unless it's been changed) i'd probably know more on war tanking, but tbh, i'm hardly ever rage hungry on fights and i'm hardly ever in danger of dying.
if i am in danger of dying, 4 piece(12k damage absorbed based on 60k hp) isn't going to help any.
edit: the reason i didn't really mention 4 piece is because afaik 277 gear + 2 piece sanc is simply better unless you have full 277 t10.
It really depends what you are doing on your war and where you are at in ICC.
Threat problems? 2pc. Gearing up for progression/survival? Offpieces. Although now with the 20% buff I'm sure the 2pc bonus really starts to shine. And as mentioned, 4pc is decent, but if you have access to 277gear, fuck everything else.
I believe the best order, going from no frost badges and entering ICC, is:
belt/gloves>264chest>shoulders+helm for 2pc>boe pieces>finish 4pc if you want it.
Ah, found it!

This should still be pretty valid. They rate the cloak first because you won't replace it pretty much. Basically get BOE's asap and the rest is pretty accurate. Since you have t10 chest, make sure you get belt/gloves (unless you want 2pc), and just skip the 264 chest.
I'd still pretend your chest is the badge chest and go from there.
Started playing with a friend of mine from FFXI, and so far level 22/3 (forgot DPriest. He tells me that disc priests are pretty popular, but I want to get a second opinion.
level 22 takes like 6 hours though Q_Q.
i am shunned from leveling. the first thing i ever leveled after my lock was paladin as ret(i talked about this a while ago), and after i got divine storm + the glyph it was so easy that it seemed like just grinding mobs was faster than actually questing. then i leveled mage and warrior. worst fucking experience ever compared to ret
though i have a bunch of 65s i should finish, especially druid. WHAT AM I THINKING
I am glad at least one of us enjoyed leveling Retadin. FUCKING BOOOOOORRRRRIIIINNNNNNGGG
I went from 1-20 in about 5-6 hours yeah, with Recruit a friend bonuses. 1-15 took a while because we couldn't do any instances, but after that, shit got so easy.
I haven't been able to play too much cause of work but yeah.
Is there any way I can see if our guild site is infected with something that causes people to get hacked? >.> We've had four guild members and one applicant get hacked lately, and it's making me paranoid. We don't run ads or anything.

replace the last bit with your hostname
Can i get a few suggestion for a tank UI (screenshot in action preferably). I've trouble keeping track of everything in heroic ICC because of how fast shit happen, and how spread out the information is on my screen (other tank's debuffs, DBM warning, casting, threat, the actual screen, etc)

Switched to the cute scrolling text addon, MikScroll or something.
I know my UI fails but gets the shit done. Looking for a replacement for the unit frames though >.>
The action bars could use some work but eh![]()

I use raid frames on the left side below my personal unit frame, targets go to the right of my unit frame. Omen next to minimap. Recount (now use Skada) isn't shown during fights.
And yes, I was just kicked from that group.
