I upgraded from http://www.wowhead.com/item=40252 to that on my Paladin, good cloaks where just impossible to get pre-frost badges.
Is there anywhere that I can download the full WoW client?
I have the discs for BC and WotLK but I lost my copy of the original game![]()

I am a bit tired of pve, so i've been reading a bit about shadow pvp, shadowpriest.com has some guides, but i'd like to know if people know other websites i can read about the class, gear and setups for arena. Any help is appreciated. Thx in advance.
Gear like this guy

The only good shadow comps I know of are shadow/frost mage/resto shaman and shadow/rogue/resto shaman
Does anyone know if Feral Druid is viable for PvP? I'm trying to find a class that can tank in PvE and deal damage in PvP. Right now I'm leaning towards Druid but I may go with Pally or Warrior as well. Idk.
I just checked SK arena for the two feral comps I know off the top of my head and didn't see anyone in safe Gladiator range. But if you don't care about getting within the top .5% of teams, feral is plenty viable.
Ret is more successful than feral, however many players use a prot dps build for PVP. Ret/prot has a few comps it can run to very high ratings.
Warrior is probably the most successful out of the three, and warriors can also use a prot build for pvp. However, if you plan on playing solo the lack of self healing abilities is pretty irritating.
Offspec a fury build, spam bloodthirst. Instant self heals![]()
Priest Mage Feral is pretty solid. You play it like you would any 2 dps team w/o MS, use the large variety of CC you have access to to get someone in a bad position and kill them. Its a bit like RMP, except this time your rogue can tank damage, heal himself, innervate your priest or mage, and has an on-demand CC.

This is my first 80 so I'm a little lost on what to do gearwise in preparations for heroics and raids. I've looked at different sites and they all seem to reccomend different pre-raiding/heroics gear. I have read though that I should replace anything under ilvl 187 before doing so. I average around 2.1k dps in the 80 normal instances with this current gear but..eh..not sure if that is enough for heroics/raids (Plus I am not hit capped)
But, here are my thoughts on what to do. Let me know if I sound stupid. :s
Enchants: Yeah, need to do that but wanted to make sure I wasn't going to replace something pre-heroics/raids before I did.
Better gems: See above
Bracers: Gonna make Giantmaim once I hit 440 LW. Or should I aim for something else?
Feet: Should I get Pack-Ice Striders or save my emblems for something else? They look really nice.
Ring (Jedoga's): Band of the Kirin Tor is reaaaaally not an option right now. I've been avoiding Trials of the Champion cause I suck at jousting.. should I suck it up and try for Uruka's Band of Zeal there?
Trinkets: Uhhh... no idea.
Any other pieces of equip look like they could be upgraded in preparation for heroics and raids?
Any advice or websites pointing out this kind of stuff would be well appreciated.
Youre probably looking an an outdated guide for gears.
For gears, you need to do ToC (ilvl 200 and 213) and Forge of soul/Pit of Saron/Hall of reflection (ilvl 213 and ilvl 232) to get a decent raiding set. Once you're almost geared, you can start with ToC10 and ToC25 (ilvl 232 and ilvl 245), and leech VoA weekly (ilvl 252 and ilvl 264) .
I wouldnt craft anything at the moment. ToC pattern for bracer (ilvl245) might be worth looking into since they are relatively cheap (1k-2k) and much better than what you could craft on your own.
Essentially, start farming heroic right now even if your dps suck, farm frostbadge (ilvl264) with daily dungeon and weekly raid quest, and buy (or ask someone to craft) ToC/ICC gear depending of your budget. On a short term, you should spam 5manl heroic right now for emblem of triumph (there is vendor in leathercraft shop that will sell Tier9 set and the badge vendor sell more ilvl245 accessory).

I cant help you here, but your dps sound a bit low right now. You might want to check if your spec and skill rotation are correct
If you're going to start spamming heroics, then trash all the survivability traits. Your hit is a bit too low. Survival is kinda eh dps once you start gearing up, but I think it's fine for now until you get the gear for Marksman. You should respect survival into more of a dps spec instead of a lvling spec.
I've linked this before, but I loved it soo much when I was noob hunter and unfamiliar with gear.
http://elitistjerks.com/f74/t30710-w...s_spreadsheet/
Check out this spreadsheet and go to the gear planner tab. You can adjust it to what places you plan to get gear from (like you specifically set to just show gear from heroic 5-mans or triumph badges). Check what easy upgrades you can work towards via WoWhead and go from there. That should really clear up alot of your gear questions. You can also test your rotation in that as well (or you can go to femaledwarf.com)
As for your spec, I can see a few off talent choices you have here and there, I'd suggest respecing into something like this http://www.wowarmory.com/talent-calc...30532135301321 With gems, I see that you're using attack power gems. For survival, you should gem and enchant for hit cap first, and if you hit that, do nothing but agi gems.
So just spam heroics as much as you can and get some easy triumph gear.![]()
Yes, spell pen is very important. None of the resistance buffs stack except with mage armor, so 130 negates every possible resistance except for mages with mage armor AND a resistance buff. I believe 130 resistance is an average 30% resist rate, so you definitely want to gear for it. The spell pen OH/wand are good because you can swap them in and out during an arena match depending on the buffs your opponent has access to. If I switch over to my haste OH/wand I gain 3% haste, so it can be a nice boost if you like to micro manage.
You'll want to gear for at least 4% hit, even though you have Shadow Focus, because you'll be spending a lot of time dispelling your opponents and Shadow Focus doesn't apply to your holy spells. Personally, I gear 6% hit for both disc and shadow because I don't like losing games due to RNG misses. 4% is the base hit you need, then certain racials give people 2% more spell avoidance, so you need 6% total to overcome that. It sucks though, because even if you gear for 6% hit, there are certain classes that have 4% spell avoidance talents, so you'll still miss quite often.
This pretty much, hit cap is fine - only need 263 on a hunter for the required 8%.
If you are looking for what enchants or a slightly different survival spec to use, feel free to have a look at my toon.

Yes Marksman is better DPS at higher gear levels, but Surv isn't that much behind it. Plus with me keeping a dual spec as BM (my first hunter love), i'm still doing a respectable 6K in icc10, and more when I'm actually paying 100% to my rotations etc.
Kill shot > explosive shot > black arrow > Aimed/Multi Shot, with Serpent Sting when needed, and an occasional steady if everything is not coming off CD for a sec, is how I tend to proritise my shots.
Hope this helps.
I was wondering what people feel would be the best Prot Paladin DPS/Soloing second trinket. I currently use Greatness (STR) and Gnomergan Auto-Blocker but I can't imagine the Auto Blocker is that good for pure damage. As far as I can tell most the WOTLK trinkets are AP, Haste, ARP, or Crit which obviously isn't anywhere near as good as STR.
