Oh ok that's a relief. So I guess then for every boss we kill in a random heroic nets us 11 JP? And I can only guess, say, an item that costs 60 triumphs will cost 694? (probably rounded up to an even figure)

Yeah it's basically Current Badge Cost*11.58 to determine the value in Justice Points, 95 frost badge items are 1100, they actually seem to favor rounding down over up. That's the only specific example I can remember. I can grab some screenshots later of it all in beta if people want.

Fair enough. I'm intending to spend my Justice Points on current frost badge gear as well. I considered saving it for Cataclysm and just using it for the slight boost in gear at 85, but that should be entirely minimal, and I may have enough time to get everything now and still recap.

Yeh same here. I just basically want to be able to tank some ICC bosses in a bit more shinier gear, and by that time I would've grinded enough anyway to rehit cap and stuff.

dont know if anyone else has posted about this or has been experiencing this problem, but has anyone seen anything about an influx of accounts being hacked in the last few months?

I am asking in particular due to the fact that I have an inactive account atm (waiting for cata) and this is the 2nd time in about 2 months my account has been compromised. I know that it isn't anything I am doing, as I havn't logged into WoW in a number of months (rules out keylogger), don't go to any bad websites, have up to date security on pc, don't open emails that are spam/scams, and am also not a downy when it comes to computers.

Once I get ahold of it again im most likely going to buy the security token they came out with so I don't have to deal with this again, but has anyone noticed / read about an influx of accounts being comprimised?

I've come to the conclusion, completely a conspiracy theory based on mine and others experiences, that Blizzard might be doing.

When I took a three month break, I came back and the next day was hacked. Did a quick virus scan to find nothing. The hacker didn't sell the gear I had equipped but sold everything else (10k gold, everything in the bank, stole a few Gbank items).

I told a friend my story, he told me that this happened to a few of his/my old friends. All of them told me the same thing that happened to my character (Come back for 1 day, authenticator on account, get hacked, have everything but current equipment gone).

Why would a real hacker not take absolutely everything? He's gotta make that $5/hour for rice right?

"Not downy when it comes to computers" won't stop you from getting keylogged. Lots of people get their shit hacked after they go inactive, which makes me think they get our information and wait for us to take a vacation so we won't notice they took all our shit. If you got your shit hacked again after you got it back, you need to reformat your computer, that's the only way to make sure you're clean. There are plenty of viruses and keyloggers and nasty shit that your "security" won't catch. And after you reformat make sure you have everything up to date, there was an adobe flash player exploit recently that was getting tons of people hacked.

I rarely say im 100% sure of anything, but I am 100% it's not a keylogger as I have never logged into my account since the password was reset. I have way to much work done on this hard drive to reformat just for WoW. (inb4 backups, it's not backup worthy, but also not worthy the time for an unnecessary reformat). I also have multiple other MMOs installed on this machine that I play frequently and have never had a problem with.

The weird thing was the first time I was hacked, the person didn't sell anything, they actually starting using it for running heroics and was getting me badges. They also added a mobile authenticator to prevent me further from getting it back. (blizz locked the account within 12 hours of it getting taken tho)

The second time the person never even made it into my account. Was flagged during the process of them resetting my passwords and locked before they could even get on.

I wouldn't think of Blizzard to do shady things with people's accounts as they are making huge profits compared to almost any other MMO, their authenticator is cheaper, and they are just in general a more laid back company (at least compared to SE when working with account/billing/technical problems).

/shrug guess I was just hoping to find that this was something that happened on a larger scale and wasn't as much of an isolated incident. I think I will just get the authenticator after I get access back and hope for the best.

This isn't rocket science, honestly...while it's true that in more cases than not a "hacked" account is due to some malicious tool capturing your personal login details, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that a long-standing inactive account could be brute forced, especially given the general lack of complexity most people use for password schemes. Far as I know, the only thing Blizzard does is put a short timer lockout on their accounts for repeated failures, and they provide no user notification/affirmation on said failures so it wouldn't be hard to eventually come to a success.

Edit: The very notion that Blizzard does this on purpose is downright hilarious. Do you realize the extent of personal information they hold? Do you also realize how much money they could make with that information? And you think they're going to bother small-timing their playerbase out of ~$7 a head?

Does anyone have, or have been working on, Insane in the Membrane? Do you need Honored with Bloodsail AND Exalted with Steamwheedle at the same time? I thought so, but someone told me I just need to achieve them once? o.O Either way, looks like Steamwheedle Cartel is the only rep I absolutely 100% HAVE to grind a metric fuckton for. Sucks; I like farming for gold a lot more than I like rep grinding...

I'm pretty sure it works exactly the same way as the Sholazar achievement in that it records you getting exalted even if you switch to the other.

You do not need them at the same time. If you want some sort of proof, link the achievement from wowhead and you can see for yourself that the * next to the name of the bloodsail chieve (which represents your own progress) will be green even if you're no longer honored or above with them.
