Before wasting the badges on heirloom, I would spend it on the always useful argent pony bridle anyway. You can always get wintergrasp's shoulder for the xp bonus. (it was shoulder, right?)

OK, who here knows anything about LUA? I want to edit EITHER my Shadowed UF to not hide the Blizzard default totem timers, OR my TotemTimers to completely disable the stupid pop-up menu that appears when you hover over the timers. Yes, I know I can set it to right click, but then I can't use right-click to destroy said totem.

Is there any way to change "esc" key priority order?

Right now, pressing escape close the chat > spell interupt > open window. I want it to be chat > open window > spell interupt.


I can't think of a single situation where I would want to interupt my spell before closing the UI. Right now, the only thing it accomplishing is killing off my mount casting when i'm trying to close my bag window.

Quick question. I'm trying to get my Druid to 80 before Cat hits. This will be my first 80 but I'm pretty sure I can make it there once school gets out, since I'll be able to go into crack head mode the week before the expansion hits.

My only real question is whether or not I should stay feral and instance grind, or go boomkin and grind/quest solo? One of my friends says instance grinding is better since I'd get instant queues as a tank, and the says boomkin would fare better in the long run. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Dual spec is 100G these days, feral can solo as good if not better than boomkin, Tank will definitely get you queued up faster, though ahving to carry 2 sets and gear 2 sets is a bit of a chore. Random Dungeons are good if you have heilrooms and rested exp(as this will be your first 80 you dont have heilrooms), otherwise grinding quests and weaving a dungeon here and there will be much faster.

That said, if you plan to grind many dungeons the way to go is tank/healer specially at low levels there are less healers than tanks, at least in Europeen servers, dont know about NA. At lvl 80 you can just stay tank, since you'll get groups faster than if you go healer/tank.

Carying two set of gears isnt really an issue since they added the gear manager. It takes half a second to swap, and space isnt really a problem if you buy larger bag on the AH.

I found levelling as druid much faster if I just stuck to the better-geared spec, which turned out to be feral in the end. No reason to juggle gear when one set will inevitably fall behind. When you hit 80 it makes more sense to juggle gear.

Feral is almost always going to be geared better just because they didn't itemize much caster leather until BC. And there's still probably a 2:1 advantage to melee leather over caster leather through BC/WotLK stuff. Though it is a LOT better than before when all you need is int, basically.

There's also no leather only bonus until 50, and you can need on cloth before Outland areas, and you can grab that spirit-> hit talent and annoy healers who want spirit gear

Two Questions: How many subscriptions has WoW got to? And if I were to purchase Lich King and Cataclysm, when/where would be the best time to purchase them in the next 3 months (money wise) I would like to buy them as cheep as I possibly can.

They will probably release a new battlechest when Cataclysm hit. That's when the price will go down. Right now, it's Vanilla+BC battle chest for 30$, and Wrath for 40$. Cataclysm will be 50$

$60 for cata? I got the online pre-sale for like 50 bucks tops. Besides the battlechest, I dont see blizzard lowering the price of wotlk or cata anytime soon beyond 5 bucks.

I doubt they will change the price after. They did not for for starcraft 2 at least.

Problem with skipping wrath is your leveling from 70-80 will be cock blocked. Just bite the bullet and get wrath as well.
