So uh, now that Mage glyphs are fixed which are best for Fire? Between Fireball, Pyroblast, Living Bomb, and Molten Armor. I couldn't find anything on EJ and don't know where else I'd look.

Int attributes to your mana pool, spell power, and spell crit chance. I'm almost 100% that int will do you better on ele shammy. Now that you reminded me of then haste/dots thing, I'm not entirely sure about afflic lock, something that relies on dots almost 100%. I guess somebody else will have to answer that one.

Is there any reason why Deathwing's devastation hasn't hit northrend? or is Deathwing not a fan of snow?

Started up a Tauren Paladin and got it to 17 so far. After getting the quest from Baine to go talk to Garrosh, I saw that the Warchief's Command Board wanted me to go to either Azshara or Northern Barrens. I went to NB and completed all the quests up until I got to Xroads, and now all the quests are green when I pick them up. I went back to the Command board to see if it had anywhere else to send me, but all I see is a grey exclamation point (I'm too low level for it). Anyone from the beta, or anyone who knows better than I do, where should I go next?

Northern Barrens should get you to atleast lv20. It's very easy to level too fast for the quests now, though.
Just keep doing the quests and you'll get guided to higher quests, and eventually to Ashenvale.

What UI addons do you guys recommend for a newb mage? Specifically I need some sort of parser and something to easily be able to see my current threat on a mob.

Parser ? most people tend to use Recount, but people in your group can report different outcomes, probably best using World of Logs, as I find it's a more accurate reflection of what goes down World of Logs

I've been away for a few months now and plan on prepping for Cataclysm. I got JC/BS to 450, got the highest flying skill, etc. but I'm hoping I can do some more beforehand.

Beyond justice points, are there any quests, etc. I can do to better prepare for Cataclysm?

At this point jp farming is all that's left. Todays patch pushed out pretty much everything from the old world that you could have done at the last minute.

I went to collect my explorer achievement last night before the big patch (EU) but was unable to do so as Thunder Bluff is bugged as stated by a lot of people on WoWhead. I logged a ticket to get it fixed as that's what many done. I wonder if my full explorer achievement will still count

I set my stones at each of my races capital city, except the druid which I set in SW, since i can just portal to moonglade and be over in kalimdor easily, will be annoying not having flying in the old world until cataclysm, but there is nothing to do except explore the new zones so its all good i guess.

I don't think you can buy any gear from any vendors until you're a high enough level to equip it
