Yeah I was originally going to have her RAF me a 5$ vanilla and level to 60 with her really quick, but then I wondered if I could some how get it on my account right away. Guess not, thanks for the help. I've always RAF'd myself before and dualboxed but never transferred before 60.

It looks like AG Unitframes is essentially dead for Cata, does anyone have suggestions for good, simple unitframes? I prefer a clean, easy-to-read frame. Things like unit portraits and fancy textures are not wanted. This would be exclusively for self / target / ToT / focus / ToF frames, as I use grid for party / raid frames.

xperl and shadowed are both pretty easy to set up and you can disable all the fluff elements to keep it as clean as you like.

I'm a fan of shadowed, myself, thanks to their anchoring mechanics. Makes aligning elements super easy.

Yea, they killed rested for wrath as well. In fact someone was bugged had full rested, and he got reset back down to 70 once blizz found out.

Pitbull is the closest I've found to AG, I had the same problem when I came back to WoW from an extended break.

Pitbull is simple once you understand where things are, but setting an ui for the first time with it is rage worthy. The way you create template in a place, and use them in another is not so intuitive.

Anyone know if it is possible with pitbull to reduce the size of the "incomming heal" bar. I dont want to turn it off since it's useful at time, but in raid environment when healer are spamming me, my bar end up taking the whole screen.

Reading MMO Champ forums a bit thanks to the link above to that Cata guide, what's the deal with the high and mighty "PvP" server people? I know PvP servers are more difficult but otherwise I don't see the reason for them to be complete dicks on their posts.

I had some of this in-game too but very rare, usually getting someone in randoms saying "lol you all none pvpers suck" etc...

They're retarded, nothing more. There's nothing more difficult about leveling on a pvp server. If you get camped or whatever, log off for 15 minutes, come back, they'll be gone. And dear god MMO champion forums are just amazingly bad, it's like trade chat: the forums.

PvP servers are more "difficult" because occasionally a high-level asshole will come by and waste 5 minutes of your time. There's very little actual world PvP on PvP servers. The vast majority of combat is griefers slaughtering lowbies. In 64 levels on my druid, I have only had 2 fights where the level delta was less than 5 and thus somewhat interesting.

That said, a lot of people aren't assholes and will leave you alone as long as you aren't bothering them. I have only died to lv80 gankers 5 times so far: once in duskwood, once in N.Stv, once in Desolace, once in EPL, and once in HFP. Died once to a warlock who was +3 levels that ambushed me while I was questing.

Seriously, where is the fun? I'm not enough of a dick to gank lowbie, and I know the opposite is going to happen occassionally.


You might occasionally get a fun fight, but might as well randomly duel people on your way if you want to pvp people.
