You have to be level 82, then you get a quest to talk to the earthen ring representative of org/stormwind, who shows you a cutscene then teleports you to malestrom. From there on out you can just port back the same way, there's a portal to org/stormwind in deepholm for easy travel back and forth.

If you hold the mouse over any of the currency, honour/justice points etc it will say the cap for the week.

When does the JP/honor cap get lifted? I was under the impression that it was to be lifted when Cata slides out, but that don't seem to be the case. In panic when I installed Cata, I spent my 4000 JP on a BoA trinket, and sent it to an alt, and now I'm painfully realising it's a bit hard to earn JP XD -- should've kept that 2725 and just faced it with losing 70/day from Cata randoms.

Honor cap is probably in place until PvP gear comes out or something. JP might stay capped because you can use it on stuff now and they won't want people hoarding points for the next tier and everything.

You earn JP a lot quicker in cata heroics, and the shards from DE'd gear are worth more.

Yeah, you get 70 JP a boss in a heroic, and 70 JP for instance completion. So 30-60min for 280-420 or so JP (I'd think HoO is a shitton of JP though...7 bosses)

Just reinstalled the game the other day and I'm having an issue. Some monsters/mounts/etc are completely missing skins and appear as a bright green model. I've tried searching here and on google about it and haven't found much info on it.

I installed from the online download, completely patched. Had an issue with "applying critical updates" never finishing, but found the fix for that which didn't seem to help the green issue. Anyone else experience this or know of a fix? Video card drivers are up to date with the latest release, too. Same computer I played with a year ago, just new HD and running Windows 7x32 now.

Also, would anyone know if I bought the pets available to the Horde and then switched to Alliance, would I keep those or would they be converted to Alliance equivalents? I know you use to be able to buy them on the shared AH from opposite realms. Just curious because if I get my real character back she's been made into a Blood Elf while I was absent and I was originally a Draenei. I had most, if not all, of the Alliance buyable pets. Curious if I could grab the Horde ones then switch her back to Draenei if they would stay the same. Avoid buying them for higher prices on the AH. (Hope that all made sense.) I know Mounts convert to equivalents and all, but I know some of the pets could be obtained by either side even if it had to be through the shared AH.

Pets stay the way they are, for the most part. I don't know about pets that are definitely faction specific, like the moonkin hatchling.

Does anyone know if there is like a guide for hair/color on female worgens in relation to what they'll look like as cats/bears as well? I'm especially looking for the extra haircuts you can get from the barber shop because retardedly you can't see the human form so you don't know what their hairstyle looks like until after you purchase it.

Not a big deal, but it'd be nice to see before spending hours trying to get the right combo.

[edit] friend found the color part, but I'd still like the worgen hair -> human hair comparisons since I can't see those either.

WoW is very accessible. You can start playing, hit the level cap in a couple weeks of casual play and then be geared enough to raid in a week.

Cataclysm was literally made to improve the starting experience of players, any time after 4.0.1 is a good time to start (i.e. now).

You have to buy each expansion or you can't level past a certain point.

WoW - 60 cap
TBC - 70 cap
WotLK - 80 cap
Cata - 85 cap
