Enchanting Profession question here, I can't find anywhere else.
If I level one on my alt, I am aware that I cannot enchant my main's stuff as I'll need both chars logged in at the same time, but I've seen some scrolls on AH that usually provide the same enchant, i.e. "Crusader".
I was wondering if being an Enchanter will allow me to make the Enchanting Scrolls so I can pass them to my main? There's strictly no disadvantage of this? (I don't mind paying a bit more for mats or something, costing a little more isn't a huge issue, I just don't want to rely on enchanters while in town)
Sweet! Just Wiki'd that item and it explained it all there, thanks.
Time to rush it up then! XD
And to make a million fiery item enchants so I can apply them to my big ass weapons.
that's how enchanters make money now. Used to be the scrolls were made by someone with inscription, but they simplified it and now you just buy them from the enchanting supplies npc.
They are 100% the same as the real enchant. You really haven't had to shout since inscription came out (only sometimes though cause inscriptionists would sometimes jack up the price of the vellums, but they are only like 8s from the npc now).
[edit] beaten while I was typing D:
I do have a question involving recipes, has anyone else noticed any of theirs gone missing? Runecloth bags are my favorite to make for people if they're playing a low lvl char 'cause they're the largest nonbind on equip bags (that I know of anyway). When cata came out of course I get a bunch of peeps wanting bags cause they're lvling worgens n' shit and my recipe was no longer there. At first I thought it was a glitch but it's still not on my list. So now I'm sitting at the npc again waiting for it to pop up to just rebuy it. I'm 100% sure I had it, but now I think maybe I'm missing other things too. I've had to rebuy some enchants I thought I had (those I am not 100% sure on since they were things I rarely made) but I am suspect about it. This happen to anyone else or hear it happening?
The only thing I noticed missing was my Mecano-hog, but that's related to my race change to Goblin.
How does one increase the weekly maximum of conquest points? do you need to play the old 10 games in a week to have it recalculate what your maximum should be?
You need 1550 rating in arenas and/or rated battlegrounds.
What's the current DPS potential tier? I've found myself doing pretty good damage as a Fury warrior and have only been beaten by a Rogue a few times (single target).
Also, how's Warrior for PVP? I'm sure Tol Barad isn't the greatest indication, but I've been raping face quite often as fury (hit a DK for 45k dmg lawl).
Skilling fishing only decrease the amount of garbage you fish, right? It wouldnt increase the chance to see a turtle in northrend or something?
Has anybody fought Halfus where killing the drakes didn't remove his buffs? We got slate and... blanking on the name of the other & whelps, but we went after slate first to remove the stacking -healing debuff and when the drake died he retained his buff. Of course this meant that he was unkillable and we got raped, but has anybody else had this happen before? We are hoping the raid soft reset fixed it so he wont be bugged today.
And.. Are we stuck w/ those drakes, or does it have a RNG chance to change today when we re-enter and fight him again? (we weren't obviously saved to the raid)
Not to sure about turtle, but if your skill is too low you will only get junk, no fish. So I don't know how that affects turtle chance. usually wowhead, under comments, will tell you
Halfus did not lose his MS debuff when we fought him last night. With a tank swap it was np though.
We got Slate, Nether, and Whelps. Killed Nether first to get rid of the frenzy. The drake tank taunted Halfus at ~11-12 stacks on MT and we had a DK use army to distract the drake we were on. MT takes Halfus back after stacks expire.
The damage in that fight is tremendously front-loaded so blow all your CDs early.
What's a ballpark figure for how much dps I should be doing before I start heroics?
Assuming iLvl 300-333 gear I would (on a Frost DK's point of view) expect you to out 8k single target and upwards 12k+ for targets of 3+
I'm squatting in 333/346 fully ungemmed and unenchanted and assuming I don't need to interrupt or move around or dodge crazy shit I can output 11k or so single target and 15k+ on multiple if threat allows it and tank doesn't suck.
Will enchant and gem my gear later, I feel poor =P - but I'm on par with the fully gemmed/enchanted guild leader Retrib Paladin in most fights =p
I've been playing Frost (mage) for PvE. I don't see how I can pump up my AoE damage; the spec doesn't have any good AoE spells since Blizzard seems to suck now. I should be able to do 8k on single targets though.
I have good control options at least.
Should I try Fire? My crit rating is so terrible though.
