I was also thinking about this recently, can anyone confirm if I drop all my heirlooms on one character and xfer that char to a new server I'll keep the heirlooms?

If by "drop" you mean "put them in that characters inventory" then yes, it works. I've done it personally.

Do you get to keep the Ricket's Tickers after completing the Daily? Just curious if I keep the quest for the item to get to Jadefang, or if I can do it and turn it in. Can't seem to find any note of it on WoWhead for the item, quest, or Jadefang.

And those people who think this is the worst thing Blizzard has ever done clearly weren't around during vanilla or tried to raid at the beginning of BC. Or, hell, forget that. Shattered Halls? How bout Wrath heroics when the expansion first hit? People are so stupid and that post is awful. If I took a shot every time he called blizzard disrespectful I'd be dead by the end of it.
