edit: we tried holding 2 adds till a 3rd spawned, worked much much better... but I'm thinking we might need to even wait till 3.5 or something since we cut it close later on.

Do tanks whore themselves out in your server? Pre-random finder fix I had seen and heard of tanks selling queue, but what about selling the whole instance? Hellscream is kinda backwater when it comes to everything but wondering if I should even bother >.>

Haven't really seen it a lot on Kil'jaeden but I spend an awful lot of time trying not to read trade. I actually see more people wanting to buy tanks than I see tanks willing to sell themselves.

I attempted to whore my 4-man guild group on Saturday. Got a lot of people crying to me about it. Basically, was selling a DPS spot for a random heroic for 250g, stuff like how could I do that, unbelievable, etc etc

Told them a few things:

1. We will carry you through the heroic. You can even afk/put yourself on /follow
2. Selling portals is no different
3. This either got me on /ignore list of everyone in trade or shut everyone up; but I mentioned how stuff like this is like a fetish. If there's a fetish for it, you bet there's a site out there. Likewise, if there's gold in for X service/activity in the game, you bet someone out there will try and make money with it
4. Don't like what I am doing? Enjoy your 50 minute, possibly failure, queues

To be honest if I wasn't tank, and I wanted my VP for the day, and I had other things to do than wait, I would pay. 250g is a pitiful amount =p

Is gold really that hard to come by for some people in this game? Do people not loot mobs they've killed? Remains a mystery to me.

It's pretty common on Cho'gall. Most people don't seem to have a problem with it as long as the tank doesn't come off like a prick. I don't see anything wrong with it myself, with long DPS queue times 100 gold probably seems like a small price to pay to save a 40 minute wait.

Its not really a problem with making gold (in my case) just trying to milk the system; because the odds of me getting a shit group are high, I just shout a couple times before queue for my daily just in case someone takes the offer.

I think that the courtesy at low levels is so much better than at higher levels. I never got any "thanks for group"-ish comments at 80+ but on any one of my alts people were nice to each other (mostly) and even chatting through the dungeons. It's like people lose all of their social skills the higher their level climbs.

lol agree. Ive also noticed alot of peeps asking if you wanna keep the group and run more (assumingly since the social skills of those involved are higher then the average 12yo)

Whenever I see a shout above 100g, I take it. You get lot of money from the queue, some from the tank, and since it s a pug, you have a decent chance at the chaos orb for another 1-2k.

More like 500g. I make about 1000g profit from crafting chaos orb items to sell on the AH, but I buy low and sell high.

How do PvP Holy Paladins shrug off all my attacks? Needed 1 more arena win to cap CP so me and a friend did some.

Was in arena last night with me (DK) + my Holy Paladin friend, and we were up against a Holy Paladin and a Warrior. Paladin wouldn't die, so I rushed the Warrior down rather easily. My friend also comments he wasn't do any if at all any damage as he wasn't even healing himself. Then we tried to work on the Paladin.

99k MP, massive regeneration, and all my attacks seem like it was doing no damage. He kited us around the boxes in the Dalaran Sewers repetitively; like a pro too, he would not sit still lol; 30 mins later I actually felt a bit restless and tired, my wrist was feeling cramped too haha. We were unable to burn him down at all. We tried all sorts of stuns/silence combinations but each time we were about to just get somewhere he'd have his bubble up or squeezed in his 0.8s cast heals (some proc which makes Divine Light 0.8s my friend as telling me) As they were the same faction as us I just said "GG, you win. Can't burn you down"; just being respectful. Stood there /dancing for a few mins while I tried to check him up on armory, but it didn't reflect his pvp gear. Naturally I suspect his plan was to make us quit which worked.

Except the self healing I just don't understand the damage shrugging. I'm sure I'm near equally geared as him in terms of resilience (maybe missing a few points from my still blue accessories, but my chest, shoulder, leg, hand, belt, cloak is purple, the rest is blue), but when I go head on with another melee DPS I always seem to go down fast. If I was a caster class like Shaman, Warlock or Mage, would it have been a different story?

Actually, in hindsight, would their plate armor stack with the resilience? Although I feel like it never works on me, although I know I'm technically missing 10k armor due to no shield, but still, it can't be that massive of a difference, can it?

(and can opposing sides see our /say ? the other team never responded or anything)

We got into another arena afterwards and slaughtered the opposing side no prob and got my CP.

short answer: dps + heal 2's sucks, avoid it if you can

long answer: dk damage has been nerfed enough that you can't kill a good healer 1v1, your healer needs to be doing significant damage to actually drop his health bar while you're stacking necrotic

basically what you needed to do was wait til his freedom and shit were down, then grip him out to the middle and hoj, coi him inside hoj, strangulate when that wears, gnaw when strang wears, and the whole situation needs to be set up to happen when you're ready to transform ghoul, summon garg, and have horn ready to help with the rp dumping, and blood tap + erw

the reason this has to be in the middle is so he can't los your pally who's going to be spamming exo/shock/judge/shield with wings up

oh and keep in mind you're going to have to do it again when strangulate is back up cuz of bubble, and do absolutely everything in your power to get him to blow trinket before you do it

Yeh while running him around I kinda did wish I was Unholy for an extra stun lol. But one thing I didn't think of doing was grip him to the middle. If we ever encounter someone so anal again I'd try.

Frost pvp spec is a pita now, the runes just don't line up right and the burst is not there with everyone running 4k resil.

I do 2's with a feral that's pretty clueless. We got vs frost mage + blood dk, took down the mage fairly easily. Druid didn't realize the DK was blood and basically sat on him til he (the druid) died, leaving me 1v1 as unholy against a blood DK. Thing is, he was fucking terrible and couldn't kill me. (dude killed my pet like 8 times even though I was putting out no meaningful pressure at all, he had no idea what he was doing)

I couldn't bring myself to give someone that bad a win in that situation, so yeah it went for 45 minutes lol.

I suppose you both went on a Death Strike orgy? I've never lost so far against Blood DKs in arenas, it just doesn't work I feel. I can overpower their shield/healing pretty easily and they'll wittle down quickly.
