So like I've been randomly checking the AH, and checked a bit around on google/wowhead.com devices list... and don't really see what replaced gnomish army knife as I never see any on sale for past 3-4 days, or does a vendor sell it or something better?

Why would something replace it? I don't think I understand the question, unless somehow they've lost their jumper cable ability.

About the only thing that could replace it functionally is if they provided engineers with a gnomish knife + jeweler's kit/virtuoso inking set/simple grinder combo.

Was just wondering if something better came along to replace it, since when I was playing back in wotlk days you'd see several pages of the things, now you don't see one on AH in past 4-5 days.

Don't forget I haven't played since like 2-3 months into where people were downing heroic LK and in cata beta they haven't even added professions stuff in yet

Oh.

I guess the shortage is due to Obsidium Bolts replacing them on the previously agonizing 425-450 engineering grind.

Anyone know of any good Holy Priest addons? having trouble adapting from Disc and I think I need something to track Chakra and other spells for me.

I don't play my priest anymore, but I use ForteXorcist to keep track of buffs and cooldowns on my druid. It might take a while for you to setup properly but it works well in my opinion. You can use the cooldown tracking bar as a buff tracker if you like, you just have to add the buffs you want it to show.

I used http://talesofapriest.com/holy-power-auras/ to setup some simple power auras to display icons for useful abilities as they come off CD. I believe it helps me quite a bit in playing my priest.

What's the best spec to level as with Mage? I started with arcane, and then went to fire, and now I am back with arcane. It seems like it is doing more damage than fire. Maybe I am doing something wrong? I'm lvl 47 now.

Level in Frost. Super safe, and really easy to AoE stuff down solo.

I've seen alot arcane mages in bg's/5mans lvling, they all rape on recount even the bad ones that key turn and skip around the screen like their on dialup or playing at 5fps.

Although some the "good" players I've seen do most as frost mage with ice lance spam in the lower levels from what I seen (like 600-800dps at Lv 55ish range)

The only CC I've ever done is traps with hunter, which can be resisted but last full once they do trigger, however Hex keeps randomly breaking (resto shaman) is that supposed to happen or someone is breaking it? And if so, which addon would I use to find the culprit?

I'm sure there's an option in Recount to count CC's broken.

Use a mod called BigBrother, it gives you a notice of who breaks what CC using what ability (or if it just breaks on its own).

Also tells you who is md'ing who, who cast rez on who, who interrupted what (to yourself or party/raid/whisper also) pretty nice mod to see whats going on. (Like who's md'ing/tricks of the trade you to make a trash back run at you) >.>

Recruit a friend question:

If I use this and make my "own" trial account only, dual box 2 chars (on my main accont, a new char with heirlooms) and the new one (practically naked), take advantage of the 300% bonus thing, level to 20 in hours, can I, while still under the trial account, gift levels to my Rogue who is 50? Or do I have to upgrade/buy the game first on the trial account?

I want to do this a couple of times for Rogue and Warrior. Both 50. If I can gift 10 levels it'll get me near the "home run" stretch which is Outlands. I've got about 1000 e-mail addresses I can use. I don't care about deleting my own char at 20 to do it again, since it's worthless.

EDIT: I'm aware of my limited amount of referrals. But I think 20 is plenty.

EDIT2: Do my referrable recharge? Just curious.

I believe you can only gift levels to a lower level character. So no, you will not be able to give levels to a l50 rogue.

That said. With the new questing design, it takes like 30 minutes per level from 50-60 *without* RAF / rested bonus.
