Because it's pretty much identical to most other professions for pvp in that stat boost. It doesn't have on use like eng, just a passive bonus.

I require a complete (or near complete) WoW icon pack, preferably large icons (as seen in the achievements window) so I can manipulate it, but also preferably all of them large including spells/abilities/talents/weapons/items/armor/buffs/everything.
Will settle for large achievemen icons and regular sized spells/abilities/talents/weapons/items/armor/buffs/everything icons XD
Does it exist? Google searches lead me to "avatar" icons =(
What's the warrior 80-85 levelling spec flavor of the month? I have prot set aside for the random dungeons, just wondering what's an optimal build to minimize time spent killing mobs. I'm not really enjoying prot for levelling, I just want mobs to die quickly.
fury. 3 button rotation and watch things blow up pretty much.
I feel like I'm cheating doing the green gem thing with this addon
thats awesome lol. you have the uncut gems filtered i assume?
Yeah you type /junk and shift click the item you want added to the autosell database.
So I added each one and added perfects as I got them... sold something like 300+ green gems in seconds.
Preparing for the next world event, Children's week, School of Hard Knocks
Just to get the PvP orientated achievement so I can get my purple drake...
Is it feasible to, along with (unlikely tho for they only raid nowadays) guild members, bribe people? I've got about 150k gold. I was wondering if bribing 10-15 people for the achievement would work for at least 3 of them. The idea is I'm confident I can solo the AV one as I can usually get ahead of everyone so that only leaves 3 to do, and for the 3 I feel I can safely bribe someone, say, 200g each for maybe 10 mins or less of their time. I will get them to link me their achievement to show that they've done it so they won't fight for it.
Eye of the Storm - 3 people take a base, 11 others come with me and protect me around the flag. I rush off to cap flag when my base is captured, hoping no horde will try and take my intended base
Arathi Basin - everyone stay at the entrance/afk, I run off to cap Stables. And then maybe command everyone to let horde win so we get the hell out asap
Warsong - Everyone camps the base, ideally in stealth mode/roof. Gank enemy flag guy, and his buddies. I return flag.
I can see myself knocking all those 3 down in 1 hour or less if people would just co-operate. For example, after I get the achievement, let the other side win/dominate so we can get on with the next one without the BG debuff. Although I feel even that will take a mass amount of effort to do just to get people to work together nicely (which seems to be an ultimate challenge) I suppose up to 15k, assuming I pay 1000g for people for their time, would be worth the time/hassle saved.
If you saw this offer, 1000g for this work, and had the achievement, would you go do it? Although bear in mind people on my server seems to think 200g is expensive, from what I noticed ...
--- Do I get insta-boot abilities if my group is premade and joined, where I am "raid" (BG) leader? Or would it not function like that. The idea is I will pay 33% per achievement with the final 1% at the last one after I've done it. If someone decides to be a dick and get in front of me to do it I will insta-boot them (if I don't do the achievement check)
Or you could do what those achievements are intended to do and just play the games. People will specifically go out of their way to make it hard to do them if you make it obvious what you're trying to do, in my experience. On both factions. It's really an inevitability that you get them if you push for them while still playing the match.
In years past folks would be surprisingly cooperative on the PvP Children's Week achievements. You'd literally see Tower Point change hand 50 times in one match. On one side you got people farming School of Hard Knocks, on the other you've got people farming things like Tower Defense. In WSG you see people running up to the flag and repeatedly pick it up/drop it manually and trade that part of the achievement. You don't need much cooperation for EotS/AB, you just have to be the first one to survive the flag cap.
What really makes the achievements hell is the BGs where the cooperation drops to zero, or premades taking advantage of the weaker side and farming HKs at your spawn point. Can take a few of those and a lot of patience before you grind it out, and it's stressful since Children's Week is literally only 7 days long.
The achievements are really not that hard to do, the hardest is probably returning a flag in WSG. The Arathi and AV ones can be done just by being the fastest out of the gate, no PvP required.
I should use this holiday as an excuse to finally finish returning 50 flags in WSG.
Hmmm, would be a great time to knock out Tower defense, I still need 21 towers and it's a pain in the ass achievement some games with 10 alliance sitting in a tower.
My guild had a chat about improving dps further and race changing from human came up..
Would I do more DPS as worgen(1% crit) or Gnome(5% extra intellect)? or would I not notice a difference?
Forgot to mention I'm a mage, durp
Didn't they change the Gnome racial to not be 5% intellect, but 5% mana? Worgen's the clear winner when you compare those two.
Race changing to max out dps is such a waste honestly. Even in a pvp setting. Yeah sure it might make the difference in very very limited situations, but play whatever you like playing in terms of race.
Alright, I decided to try a new UI while I was busy reinstalling addons and shit, I ran through the setup of the pack.. and now when I log in it's trying to log into US realms.
How the fuck do I make it so I log into EU realms? There was no pissing warning about this, at all.
edit, fixed by deleting random files in wow folder <_ <
