So do the guild tabards do anything for you if you already cap out on Rep each week? Aka remove the fucking cap? Was exalted with my last guild but went horde because alliance guild was falling apart, now ive had to grind back to exalted, about 2/5ths through and I reach cap each week just doing dailies and a raid here and there.
Didn't do ZA last night, but whats the conditions for the bear mount? I'd assume its the same as before, just wondering
Same as before, I've been selling them on my server for 10k a pop since everyone sucks dick lmfao
Anyone know how to fix the Tauntmaster addon, or anything alike it working with 4.1?
Used it all the time for taunting the odd lost mob on packs, now it feels like i'm lost.![]()
Did they do something with the friends lists? Mine has reverted back to not having Real ID friends on it and I don't remember seeing any hotfixes/patch notes on this.
mine wurkin fine
Raid was complaining last night about ranged AOE spells (blizzard, flamestrike, etc) not firing properly, is anybody else having this problem?
Yeah, it's been an issue since 4.1. I believe that everytime you target uneven ground, the aoe cursor is going to glitch out and you have to cancel/reuse your ability.
I'm not exactly sure what its all about since I don't have any AoE, but I know we wiped a couple of time to chogall because of that (aoe dps sucked because of it). Well, that and the adherant timing that was completely random (and no one in the guild was listening when I said that last week...I knew they were broken)
If you put your cursor over a mob, it'll drop the reticle and turn into a sword. It's about 50/50 if the reticle will come back or not. If you have the sword cursor, you can't cast the AoE.
Anyone play endgame warlock here?
Me and some buddies made an opposite faction char for some lolz, I made a warlock and levelled it to 45. As a first caster job, I'm fine with the stats and stuff, but currently on long boss fights I'm slightly getting frustrated with basically doing the following, on Demon Spec:
Single Target:
Apply DoTs > Shadow Bolt/Searing Pain/Hand of Gul > Apply DoTs
On boss fights I'm slightly happy with this. But my DoTs don't last all that long, and having to reapply, even if instant, seems like a little chore
Multi Target/Trash:
Apply DoTs to ONE mob, demon axe dude charges in > Hand of Gul > Bladestorm > Rain of Fire
I couldn't be bothered to apply DoTs to all targets, didn't seem worth the effort for the mobs will kneel over quick. And I top dps meters using this rotation (for now, by 20-30% sometimes)
Outside of a few other attacks I'll get later, am I destined to just apply DoTs and cast a few things in between as my rotation? Or is there an AoE DoT that I can apply? or would my DoTs ever last longer than what they are now? Does my AoE rotation stay like this for good on multi targets?
It's fun to see my dps shoot up, and because my pet is expendable I don't really care if it dies, I get an insta summon when it does die hehe
Tried to search for it, but a little hard weeding through all the threads. I just want to know the process of getting your account unbanned. I quit over 4 months ago and after i had quit I seemed to have got my account hacked somehow. I emailed blizzard trying to get it back, i got a reply email from a GM saying they restored some items on some of my accounts... which is great I guess, but my account is still banned.
Unimportant question, did they buff companion pets? In this sense: on my newly created warlock I looted a Mr Grubbs (maggot pet) and when I first got it I summoned it to have a look. Ever since, I never dismissed or summoned another pet, and I've noticed that if I die or travel elsewhere or just in general switch zones, no matter where I am, it's out with me. Compare to earlier maybe 3-5 months ago, I needed to resummon it per death (which made me stop summoning them altogether)
Can't see anything in previous notes about it XD
Yeah, it was changed, and I dont think it was in the patch note.
call them directly. Despite what some people say, Blizz is fairly painless to deal with. Just be as specific as possible. If you provide more concrete dates ( i quit around march 24th") vs vague answers they're far more likely to help you. More likely than not you'll get your account back.
There is no point in dotting up everything. Send your pet in to bladestorm, you run in and hellfire if threat is good. As far as single target bosses, yeah, immolate and corruption are used, bane every minute , hand, and spam your nuke. For trash I wouldn't even bother using immo/corr much. Hand, maybe immo, get pet in and nuke/hellfire.
This is demo btw, the other 2 specs play much, much different. Afflic which is really good again is your 3-4 dots and spam either sbolt or drainlife till they drop and keep refreshing. Its quite easy, you can move a lot, etc. Destro is more of a caster spec/ You put up immolate, conflag on cooldown, corruption, soulfire every 15sec, chaos bolt and incin if everything on cd.
For the most part as warlock you are always going to be putting up at least 2 dots. But this is really only needed on boss fights or high health mobs and isn't all that bad considering how warlocks are haste friendly. You can be a caster with destro, full dots with afflic, or a pet heavy demo. For trash you are always going to be maybe 1 dot and aoe'ing. I hate Afflic for instances tbh, but it isn't THAT bad. Demo is a blast for trash since its all aoe, and destro is a bit critting caster.
I have both mage and warlock at 85, I don't pve at all on mage because it's slow boring and easy, and I like pve'ing on warlock. As far as PVP goes though I enjoy both equally and since the mage is fresher I play it more... that and warlock has everything but t2 weap so not much point to pvping.
Ok my turn for a question.
Debating which class to bring up for arenas next. Currently I have mage and lock, so its either a melee or a healer. I have Hunter druid shaman paladin rogue warrior at 80, dk at 73.
Friends I'll be playing with have warrior, holy priest ---- and dk hunter and a gimp druid at 85.
Was thinking War hunter sham, or tsg, but the war right now is on our WLD thats at 1900, but the druid logs on like once a week or once every other week. Shaman seems like the best choice, since I also get a melee out of it (kinda), but I am pretty sure we'll be stuck below 2k so I want the least frustrating choice lol.
