Kill one pack, kill Throngus, port out->in, use drakes, profit. These days in heroics my tanks are breaking more CC than bad DPS so if we faceroll something I just go with the flow.

Is anyone else having random framerate drops flying around the world, or huge fps drops alt tabbing out of the game and back? It seemed to hit me since 4.1
V&T Heroic 10, my screen pauses for like 3 seconds when I phase into the twilight realm. Kinda annoying.
Also, for V&T 10 HM, how many people should we be sending? I've seen vids where they send mage+holy paladin only, reset their own stacks. Is that sufficient? We were trying 2 dps and a healer, none with the ability to reset their own stacks. Seems like we're getting close to 50% for the second dragon switch.
Of course, executing the rest of the fight is really what's killing us. That's one bad thing about normal versions, we get used to being so lazy on the normal mechanics, and then when we start doing HMs we have to unlearn all our bad habits.
Paladin or warrior for my next character to 85? Thoughts? I will most likely do arms/ret for questing and tank instances on them as I have the BoA gear for both. I have not played Paladin since the holy power change thing, and I had a warrior to 80 in WoTLK and paladin to 80 then too. My warrior is already lvl 51 but just kinda hesitant on playing her and havnt for a month.
I'm in a similar boat, but with more class options. For you, I'd say paladin due to having more options available. Tired of dpsing? Tank. Tired of tanking? Heal, etc. Depends what you want to do. Do you like doing heroics even if you don't need anything from them? Do you like pvping even though you have all the loot for that set? Warrior is the stronger class but it really depends, do you want the options to do more, or can you live without it. Also, do you really want to fucking level? lol.
My boat is:
Still haven't decided on my next character to arena with. My mage and lock are on RL friend teams and stuck at 1900, I want a 3rd class to push 2200-2400 with or to replace on one of my teams so I can take the mage or lock up to a higher bracket. Warrior DK Hunter Rogue or Resto Sham. Right now DK and War are FOTM and they are really strong in 2s and 3s but dk is getting nerfs, and rshaman is the most capable and has the highest rating ceiling (but i'd have to heal). Really just want the one that is the most enjoyable, and most capable of getting 2200+.
I have green/yellow latency and both below 400ms and still the game freezes from time to time, all this after 4.1 + 'network optimization' bullshit.
@Boyiee: DK. Blood is retarded. I stepped into a few battlegrounds last night for the first time, in a mix of absolute SHIT gear, and held a bunch of attackers off solo for ages. I really had no business doing what I did, i had no clue what i was doing and i steamrolled people. I would imagine someone like yourself who is actually good at PVP would just decimate as a blood dk. Best part is, short of a total overhaul of how DK's tank, blizz can't nerf it hard enough to make it unplayable. And you and I both know they won't redo the spec from the ground up any time soon.
@meseregi: Warrior. They're nutty tanks and dps. Fantastic cooldowns in prot, and insane burst in fury. Really can't go wrong.
I don't really BG much at all. Once I have my blue set I rarely go back seeing as I can't find a decent rated group. I am mostly looking at what to play next for arenas since my current teams are barely breaking 20games total a week, and I want to do as many as possible.
I'm worried about getting back on my warlock later after the DL nerf.
It is not so much a know how to play thing, its that I'm having trouble going anywhere with RL friends that only play till point cap each week - if that. So I'm like, which class would be capable of grinding efficiently, consistently, and enjoyably, most likely through finding a team in trade. It's probably going to end up being resto sham, god I just hope thats fun to play and that its decent as enh in instances.
Drain life nerf was honestly a PvEthing, if you have time to sit and cast that in a PvP setting, the other team is doing something wrong.
Sit and cast the entire thing all day? No. But it's a nerf to PVP too. Its also a more fun filler than sbolt for pve(plus lore lol but whats that), but a pve nerf should not have shat on pvp as well. They could have done it a lot differently without hurting it in pvp. Locks make up too many top teams right now, but still, its pretty lame.
If your locks arent casting DL, they are doing something wrong.
DL wasn't even that far ahead of sbolt in pve, and the nerf in a raid situation with full buffs isn't really that drastic anyway - so I have no idea what the fuck the point of the nerf even was now. It's almost as if I have to roll a shadowpriest in order to play affliction lol.
My point was it's too easy to get kicked and locked out when you're casting DL.
It should still be cast
Anyone know any good ret pala addons? I'm pretty much looking for something which displays: SoT stacks, Holy Power, Inquisition time remaining, Cooldown on Zealotry/AW. And other useful things if possible.
We used Hunter & Resto Shaman for first dazzling, Holy Priest & Boomkin for team that went in during breath(3rd one) and Resto Shaman, Hunter & Lock cleaned up for the 2nd time Valiona comes down for dazzling. They all come up quickly after that to burn down Theralion. Tips I can give to really make the fight easier is abuse Guardian spirit. We normally run with disc priest, resto shaman and a holy priest but the disc priest specced holy for more guardian spirit. Pretty sure we GS'd 4 out of the 5 blackouts that were cast lol.
I also solo tank this encounter as a Prot Pally, saving CDs, WoG or LoH as needed for the Twilight realm. Adding that extra DPS really gave us the extra kick I feel we were lacking to get our kill. We also Lust in the beginning of the encounter, since everybody is top side and there really is no "burn" phase or change in the mechanics at lower HP. Good luck!
Currently attempting progress on this, supposedly sublety rogues trivialise this but atm a rogue is something we lack. Our dps is fine, usually 3 or more at 18k+ and depending on who is on the adds (we used a mage and arms warrior last night) but the thing that seems to kill them is random shit like fabulous flames hitting them in the twilight zone or the intensive ammount of healing required during the 2nd dragon phase.
I'm hearing so many damn differing opinions on how much hit i need as a DW frost DK. Can anyone give me a clear answer? Is it 8%?
