I'm not in a number crunching mood, but my instinct would be to hold the T11 4pc until you replace it with T12 4pc in that case. Certainly for Arcane that would be the case, and I think Fire gets a similar 1250 or so haste rating equivalent out of the T11 4pc. Basically, the T11 4pc is so god damn strong that it makes up for losing the raw stat increase from 372->378 gear.

Should I just follow a normal rotation while flying through rings, or should I be refreshing dots earlier than I normally would? Is there any benefit to dotting other flying mobs in the air if possible?

Humans have mace and sword speciality granting 3 expertise, which is why I always try to stick to a sword or mace. Would it be worth upgrading from a 353 sword to a 378 axe? At 85 I believe the loss is 360 expertise rating, which granted doesn't matter much to a tank with stacked vengeance. But if there's one thing that pisses me off while tanking, it's missing attacks right at the start of a fight with no misdirection or tricks. And a Frost DK who can't keep his dick in his pants.

I'm 99% sure that 30 expertise rating give you 1 expertise. You are losing 90 expertise here, not 360.

Secondly, the base damage is by far the most important stats for damages (and threat). The upgrade from 353 to 378 is going to be huge. Also, the str upgrade on it is going to give you additional parry which is always good.

too much haste, reforge more to crit, stay @ at least 1235 haste rating, more is waste.
so 8% hit, 1235 haste, the rest crit, and leftover mastery.

New to wow.
Currently Lv40, and bought my 1st glyph off the AH last night. I didn't notice it was a glyph that I can't use yet (lv54), I went and received it from the mailbox but it didn't get put into my bags like normal, do glyphs end up somewhere else?

They are in your glyphs tab if you right clicked it. go into your talent points > at the bottom (or top? i forget) should be a glyphs tab. it will be in the list on the right.

I did look there, and saw all the glyphs but they were all greyed out, is it just because I can't use it yet?

Your gems are odd. Don't ever gem for anything aside AGI unless the socket bonus equals the amount of AGI you would have gotten from gemming pure agi or higher. You will always get more out of +40 agi then +30agi/+20crit for example

and for haste tiers, this is the best example to go buy atm (keep in mind that 24% base haste is kinda unrealistic at the t11 gear level - dunno about t12 gear lv. So it may be impossible to attain once you drop the 4 set bonus which you don't have atm):

could be, i've never done had this issue. did you actually remove the item from your mail? make sure the mail icon next to your minimap is gone, you may have only opened your mail and not actually put it into your bags. right click the glyph icon in the mail to be sure.

Make sure it's not in your glyph tab already (shouldnt be if you're lower leve tho))
Double check your mailbox
Check all your bags in case it got stuck inbetween 2 items (I lose item in my bag all the time)

Maybe you bought the wrong one, or maybe you accidently sold it to the vendor (right click to learn when a vendor tab is opened). I've sold a stack of 20 flask accidently trying to use one before.

I am lv 40, the glyph I bought is lv54. When I took it from the mailbox I double checked the chat log and saw that I received the item. I only have like 4 items in my bag but looked them over thoroughly. I checked in my bank to see if glyphs automatically get sent there, and checked my glyph tab to see if I automatically learn glyphs.

At least it was only like 20g glyph.. I'm hesitant to buy another though, maybe I'll try a cheaper glyph just as a test.

There's an option in the auction house window that reads 'Show usable items' with that it will always show stuff your level or lower AND that you can still learn/use, it'll never show stuff you already have (like recipes and glyphs not gear)

as far as gemming goes, gem agi, you have a lot of hit from the trinket, just undo the reforge. AGI is always better than crit. Also, if socket bonus is less than 20 AGI, ignore socket bonus and gem AGI. Gem glinting for blue socket if you need hit.

ok, hit a fucking brick wall on Alysrazor. We have 4 dps on the ground, killing the druids of flame and hatchlings when they have time. me in the air doing rings dpsing boss, when I get 24 stacks and the crit buff I have to go down to help the tanks with dpsing the hatchlings or we enter tornado phase with them alive. 3 healers. 2 tanks.

what the fuck are we doing wrong? why the fuck does this boss have 51 million hp with adds all over the fucking place
