Would be incredible... plus, we are due for a new Hero class. It'll be outrageously overpowered at first too, so leveling it will be a joke.
And who wouldn't want to be a panda? They can loop the emerald dream into a pandarian expansion pretty easily as well. It would all work out pretty nice.
Panda Monk dual wielding Dragonwraths.
Spoiler: show
DW has more sustained damage since you generate far more RP. The benefit of desecration is when you're chasing some faggot around a pillar and its already down he's not going anywhere, and you shouldn't really be HBing using a 2h, duel wield you dump everything between HB/Frost Strike --- 2h uses Oblit/Necro
hit level 79 on my priest, workin my ass off to get to 85
Anything I should know? Watch out for?
My main spec is Holy, and Shadow is going to be offspec.
Yeah I know how both specs work but i'm just saying why go 2h when DW pumps out so much more dmg and you can have desecration as DW. From all that i've read 2h can do more dmg in terms of having more RP generation which I can see, a few of our games I was running low on RP when kill chances came up. DW lacks in RP gen just due to only getting RP mainly from HB spam. In RBGs DW is freaking amazing because I don't even need my pvp trinket, I use apparatus+on use str trinket and rush the FC with full RP bar and drop them.
I'm wondering if UH would work in a TSG setup with the buffs to UH since it can survive better then frost and at least the pet can be face punching shit while im trying to kite the feral assraping me with UHW.
Because DW is a "When the stars align" Setup. Necro is all but worthless DWing as the second weapon doesn't hit. Of course DW rapes in RBGs, you have the support necessary to make it work. It's not always that clear cut in 3s. Yes TSG would work with Unholy, it's the spec that was played in WotLK.
When I read forums and see DPS talking about doing xx-k amount of damage, what are they talking about? Talking about per a mob? Per a boss? per a trash pull? per a full raid/dungeon? per a spell/ability? other?
There's an addon called Recount which you can get, which measures your damage on a per fight or overall basis. It also measures other things like damage taken, or healing done, etc. Many many options.
If you're level 60/70 then as a DPS 800-2000 will be your average, depending on gear and knowing what to do. Gradually at 80 you'll hit 5000-7000, and at raid entry level gear at 85, 13000~
Doing 600+ dps at 50 in instances on my hunter. /flex
I don't think I've had an instance yet where I was below 40% overall damage done.
generally someone talking about their dps is per boss fight, not trash.
My character is alliance, If I make a horde character can I mail gold and heirlooms? or is that restricted?
No gold, dunno about heirlooms.
You can mail heirlooms alliance <---> Horde, or anything with 'binds to battle.net account' tag. Same server.
^15%. Just did this a week ago.
So I just got recount and tried it out on a dungeon. On the dps tab, what is the # next to the (%)?
how much of total dps done was yours. say there's 3 dps and a tank doing any form of damage, next to your name would be the % of all total damage against enemies is yours.
I'm at work now so can't be toooo certain on the layout of it.
I am talking about a number that is in between the name and the (%)
Example:
1. Etelosbo 6579 (29%)
What is the 6579?
