There are 3 possible situations in transition 2 (left, right, and middle hammer). Have a set plan for each possible situation and call out the situation on vent when the transition starts.

Then, when you wipe, identify who didn't do their assigned task.

Don't forget that in phase 2 your tanks won't be able to help you out as well. Also make sure your paladins have Glyph of Holy wrath, which lets them stun elementals (Locking down 2-3).

Rogue or feral druid for leveling purposes and pvp at 85? My rogue is already 62, feral is 25, but that doesn't matter as I can get to 85 in a matter of 3 days. I'm leaning towards rogue even though feral's opness in arena because i'm sure it will be nerfed sooner or later, but thoughts? Also i'm horde and I don't like Tauren or trolls too much lol.

Other then the obvious trinkets and FL Rep Belt and Cape.

My hunter reached 85 yesterday, and now is the time to build an efficient raid UI. I have a good idea what I want, but I'm going to ask here anyway in case I overlooked something. Mainspec is going to be mm, offspec surv (for 5 man)

#1 Is there any hunter-specific addons that should be used?
#2 I've been using omen for age on paladin, but I always thought the visibility on it was ass. Is there anything people consider better?
#3 Without posting it, what kind of macro are you using? I made a misdirect a while ago, and could think of a few more (dispel focus's target, target the tank's target), but there is probably a ton that are useful that I don't have
#4 What keybind are you using? I'm curious to see which one people consider the most useful in pve (right now, I only have one for dispel)

Also, how do you drop your trap with your trap launcher? Clicking on both icon is definitively not the way to go, and I want to change that asap now. Ultimately, I'm looking for a keybind that would drop the trap where the mouse is pointing in a single press...if this is even possible.

I don't think it's possible to bypass the targeting phase. Moonkins have been asking for this for ages for treants. Still leveling my hunter...but for trap launcher, i have that bound to shift-T then I press the trap button (Z, X, A for the common traps, C-A and S-A for others)--since launcher is off the GCD its just S-T, Z, target & click.

Misdirect and Master's Call I have on clique, just a grid click and the ability is cast on the right person.

Target/Focus/ToTarget tranq is a useful bind to have. As is a wingclip/disengage castsequence bind.

Right now, I'm using a single click misdirect macro that prioritize the mouse over target, followed by my focus target (tanks usually), and if none of them exist or are alive, my pet. It's pretty efficient, and I think cover the same basis as this addon, but I will check it out. Thank.

Wait...what? You can use master call on anyone? Decursive never caught anything, and it didn't cross my mind that I could use it on party member. Good to know I guess.


Not being able to bypass the targeting is kinda lame. I was hoping there would be an "on target" or "mouseOver" macro to deal with this, but it shouldn't be to bad with keybind+click.

Also, could you reduce the cast to two clicks using "/castsequence Traplauncher, Ice Trap" or something similar? A,Z or X for the normal version, shift+A, Z, or X for the trap launcher version.

And while I'm at it, is there any way to maximize the number of target hit by multishot? Obviously, I try to land my hit in the middle of the pack, but sometime, it's hard to pick the optimal target when large models are stacked at max range

What I'm asking is if there is an addon that count the number of target within 8 yard of your target (or something similar) for a quick reading of the situation.

You could use a castsequence but you'd lose the ability to place your traps at your feet, which I find handy in some situations. Tank fails to hold threat over multi spam, press Z for a frost trap, or G for feign, S-R for disengage, or C-R, C-R for wingclip and disengage.

Yeah, that's why I mentioned doing something like
shift+Z= /cast sequence Trap launcher+Ice Trap
Z= /cast Ice Trap

The only drawback I see is that you have to use more key, but I still have plenty of room available for now.

Wingclip/disengage on the same macro is a good idea. I was doing both on different macro, but it was a bit too slow for my taste, and because of that, I was ending up doing disengage alone most of the time.

Looks very sleek and clean for my own needs. I'm fine with the default but I just like it's all so tidy.

The animated portraits, I hope they are our actual chars rather than a default placeholder, but might need to turn it off if it becomes a burden on performance.

^ Usually if you go to forums the person will have a link to their UI setup (sometimes even have it all bundled up so you have to do barely any work yourself aside updating the addons)

This is correct, why the guy is using Xperl with Tukui I have no fucking idea. But it was probably my screenshots you've all seen. I'm a huge fan of Tukui - I personally use an edited version of duffed's edit.
