Similar talents never used to work on general damage dealt, it only tended to help on the random shadowbolt or whatnot afaik, which was often targeting other people. I recognize its value if you're tanking on the bleeding edge of progression but in other cases...eh. Would rather ensure bearcat is viable on either side of that marker.

I am thinking of leveling a warlock for pvp but have never played a warlock. Do all specs use the pets or is it only the Demonology spec? What specs are good in pvp throughout the lvls?

All specs use pets. In pvp you will be affliction. Demo is great for leveling, however, and does some decent damage as well in pvp. You pet can do a ton of damage as demo. At 85, Afflic is the pvp spec of choice.

Fuck it, I'll make it a question.

Should I start leveling a paladin, or transfer+faction change my 83warrior to my server, or both?

My warriors server has all the BOA's and shit I'd bring with him, I have none of that on this server, and my warrior has several rare mounts/rep grinds I wouldn't do again.

Currently my only character on this server is my 85 rogue.

Kind of looked around with no definitive answer that I could find so I'll ask here.

Does the recruit have to pay for 1 60 day sub for the recruiter to get the rocket mount or can the recruit pay for 2 30 days subs?

As soon as the recruit has paid for 2 months (in any fashion) the recruiter gets the mount.

Ok I transferred my warrior. Not sure on race though. Going from Horde > Ally as a warrior is tough, cause I loved how my plate looked on my tauren.

Kinda want to be gnome for the hell of it, and for escape artist... but it's tough.

I will PVE prot some, but its an alt, so it won't be more than normals or the new LFR thing.

I know I'll end up pvping, and dpsing, so I was leaning towards worgen or gnome.

So instead of making a new thread figured I would just ask here. Gonna start playing WoW and was wondering about any tips/advice that I could get to make starting it up easier/best choices to make an effect toward endgame etc etc.

#1 tip for all players going from FFXI to WoW: Your mouse is your friend. Do not keyboard turn. Get used to it starting at lvl 1, keep 1 hand on your mouse always. That being said, I hope you don't click spells with your mouse either!

I had to unbind my camera turning keys to force myself to get used to the mouse. It was pretty rough for a week or so, but now it's second nature. Also to break my clicking habit I removed the clickable buttons from my screen.

I saw Teebu's Blazing Longsword on AH for 300g and bought it, I thought it was pretty rare and sold for more or am I thinking of something else?

Random world drop. Sit on it until 4.3, then sell it for some ridiculous price you'd never even consider buying it for yourself.

Starting FL heroics in my guild, 2 shot shannox because well, lolshannox. As for domo, do you guys use the 0/7/0/7 strategy? Is that the easiest way? We got him to 43% a few times doing this, but i'm having trouble convincing my raid leader this is the best way to handle the fight.

any optical mouse will do for WoW 1-85. You only need worry about the # of buttons on it if you're a hardcore PVPer.

KK. For some reason when I go to load up WoW it'll pop up with the Foo Fighter shit w/e then I click play. After that box goes away nothing happens. Any ideas?

Edit: The first time I did it though (last night) it went right to the game. No idea why it stopped working.

What happens when you click wow.exe from the installation directory? Looks like launcher isn't doing the right thing or can't find it.
