You need:
2x Daggers if using SUBTLE or ASS spec
Otherwise you need, if going Combat
1x slow main hand weapon (that sword)
1x dagger
You can get away with the heirloom bow at low levels until you get Fan of Knives at 75 or something.

I'm partial to Assassination from a PvE perspective, since it includes movespeed (and the extra energy makes it easier to keep rolling between mobs)
Typical challenger melee cleave, nothing special. Teams worth any grain of salt will shit on this.
I tend to stay away from PvP but what the hell does the "cleave" mean? and what's MMR stand for?
Another pvp related note. Running PHDk right now with guildies and my hatred for feral comps grows and grows and grows. Nothing I really do seems to counter how much dmg they can put on me while at the same time being able to insta CC my healer. Plus I can't pop my healer out of CC with Unholy frenzy like most others. Everything i've read is basically that i'm completely boned when it comes to warrior/feral, DK/feral and rogue/feral teams...which is annoying since they are dominating my battlegroup. Anyone able to deal with these teams as PHDk?
MMO champ mined some 378 dungeon gear, which have the same icon as the tier sets (for my respective classes, DK, Paladin and Warrior)
Do they look exactly the same as the T12 gear?
If so I'll stop raging about the helm/shoulders to get my desired look.
Paladin T12 is growing on me, and I've always wanted to transmog Paladin gear for my DK and DK gear for my Paladin as the ultimate irony lore wise.
(Death Knights are usually Paladin turn DKs right? Or mostly Paladin anyway...)
If the 378 gear does look the same I'd like that, I too think the pally T12 is pretty cool looking personally and would transmog that as a DK since we have so few good sets to transmog into.
Could just get the Paladin T12 offpieces off Beth, Shannox, Alys, Rhyolith, and Baleroc.
Need some weapon help -- decided to go single minded fury for some fun/trial, but seeing as I have shit luck with weapons in troll and I don't feel like getting 2x crafted 365s, I had enough HP to buy 2 pvp weapons:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=61344
and instead of dumping another 2450 HP (I need to go farm them anyway) I decided to buy this for offhand:
http://www.wowhead.com/item=61332
It just now occured to me, the damage range is different, but yet the DPS rating according to the item is the same.
Am I better off buying 2 swords or keep the above configuration and go 1 sword and 1 fist? Not sure how the maths stuff work here.
I am also tempted to buy the main hand fist too (don't see many warriors with that!) to play pretend MNK! Main hand fist has same stats as sword.
(I'm Night Elf, so no additional bonuses for using a sword/axe/etc)
::::EDIT::::
I forgot, I randomly picked up a http://www.wowhead.com/item=71312 because no one else could use it.
Would that be better than the above pvp weapon(s) at the cost of 146 Strength? The base damage of it is also higher.
For all other purposes, my next best weapons without spending a single dime would be some of the 353 troll swords or 346!
Anyone on the PTR know if you can drain essences for legendary from Random raid finder fireland runs?
There are no random raid finder FL runs. LFR is only active for Demon Soul's two halves. If you want to finish your legendary you are stuck doing real fireland runs.
Anyone on PTR know if you can still do "normal mode/heroic" Dragon soul raid after doing a LFR (and actually killing bosses there)?
LFR DS can be done indefinitely and not affect normal/heroic DS.
The only limitation with LFR DS is that you can only recieve 1 piece of a loot a week, and then you auto-pass on everything after that.
So I can imagine, once the ball gets rolling on these raids a bit, people won't roll on loot until the 2nd wing bosses and/or Deathwing only.
Although I do wonder if it's possible to hire 10 slaves, get them all to help you roll and then trade you the item?
I believe it's actually one piece of loot per boss per week, so the only issue I'd see is people going up until the boss they actually want loot from and dropping raid after it doesn't drop/someone else wins it/they win it. From my limited experience on the PTR doing the LFRs, though, the most irritating thing is retards starting the encounter when the leader or someone is explaining the strategy. After all, it's way too much to ask for people to READ THE FUCKING DUNGEON JOURNAL to learn about the encounters prior to queuing.
