I actually had a resto druid explaining this to my fiance last night, so I'll just repeat what she told her, and if anyone like Wafik or any other resto needs to correct or add anything, I assume they will.

The way I was told is that Swiftmend and Lifebloom are must-haves for the major slots, and then a choice of Rejuv, Innervate, Regrowth or Healing touch, depending on playstyle. And for minor glyphs, Unburdened Rebirth and then whatever. Looking at the options available for minor as far as resto goes, I'd say Unburdened Rebirth, Glyph of the Wild and Aquatic Form or Thorns.

Lifebloom glyph won't be all that great after 3.1 due to the change in its mechanic, they want you to bloom it instead of rolling the stack constantly. Swiftmend is a must, HT is pointless; Nourish or Regrowth glyphs would boost your spot-heals nicely, and Wild Growth glyph would spread the love on that a little further. I personally intend to go Swiftmend, Innervate, Wild Growth/Regrowth (undecided at the moment).

Wait, people always roll the stack on Lifebloom? I always did 3x then waited to bloom before restacking.

Keep in mind that 3x stacks costs 3x the mana.

Exactly what debuffs can you expect on a raid-boss that will trigger Torment the Weak?

I know thunderclap & Frost-fever, but what else?

    also: Rate my Fireball!

switched over from FFB last night when I realized I could get the hit without sacrificing *too* much. I think what was keeping my FFB competitive was stacking of IV/Bloodlust/Potion of speed/Trinket/managem SP bonus, so it will be interesting to see how Fireball does next week in Naxx.

Infected wounds and judgements of the just work as well, so the talent should pretty much always always be in effect on bosses.

In raiding since TBC, rolling Lifeblooms and not letting them Bloom on tanks has been the highest HPS. Next patch that will require an extremely high amount of mana, so rolling on only one tank will probably be the max you can do.

You have the hit, but your almost sacrificing to much. I'd recomend going Arcane until you can get some higher end Hit pieces (Heigans Robes, Trinket from Naxx, ect)

Swiftmend is mandatory. In 3.0, Regrowth is the next best glyph, but it will be much poorer in 3.1 with the RG nerf.
My 3rd is Lifebloom, but some people use Innervate instead of LB.
    In 3.1, I'll probably be running Smend/WG/Nourish.

What's a good US PvP server for alliance side? Mostly in regards to balance in WG and all that.

RG nerf? And it's bad enough that Nourish is actually viable?

    What madness is this?

From what I understand Tichondrius is like the ally-favoring version of Blackrock. Blackrock is amazing for finding groups and shit but the horde outnumber us at a rather absurd level.

-25% crit rate to RG, as Improved Regrowth will become 25% crit to both Nourish and Regrowth instead of 50% crit to Regrowth.

Then, there is the NG change--from 0.5 reduction in base casting time to 20% haste for 3 seconds. This fixes the clipping issue with grace nourishes, but also makes the talent weaker for trees, as I would often sit on a grace charge when tank healing.

Come 3.1, I think a lot more trees are going to be running 11 in balance instead of 14 or 17, and casting a lot more glyphed Nourish, and actually putting points into Tranquil Spirit for mana efficiency.

If you want good quality wintergrasps you'll want a mid size or smaller server. Its hard to tell from warcraftrealms any more, all I can say is shattered hand is definitely a server yo wouldn't want to go to, horde is about 10-20% bigger than alliance and wintergrasp lags like hell.

The imbalance on EU-Magtheridon and EU-Silvermoon is pretty hilarious, we're talking 50:1 horde to ally and ally to horde respectively. Server first 80 orc didn't happen until over a month after release on silvermoon.

Kil'Jaeden is pretty good. It's a high pop server but seems to have zero lag. The Alliance:Horde ratio is pretty even (with a slight favoring to Alliance). It's also in Bloodlust which is pretty much the top PVP battlegroup.

As mentioned Tichondrius is also a good choice, has a lot of similarities with Kil'Jaeden except it seems to have a lag issue every once and while.

Both are PST servers and have been around since release.

Know of any Ally favoring EST servers? Burning Blade I can't stand as ally, and I miss stormreaver but I have horde there so I can't put my ally's there. US PVP.

No sorry. The only one I could think of was Korgath, but I'm not even sure that was EST and both DnT and Drama left and I'm not sure what kind of state the server is in anymore.

The realm census websites aren't accurate, hard to find anything just by browsing forums and trade. Most people are like "server is full, go away".

Seriously, paid faction change: do want. It's such a bitch having 80's spread out to both sides with friends on both sides.
