How are you able to one tank with Impale? We are having issues with it as it is. Taking a second impale with the 100% debuff up, simply one shots our tanks. A 400k armor mitigated hit even with SW or GoAK running is enough, but doubling that is basically a wipe. Especially with the Elementium Bolt hitting about 3 seconds before the second impale.

I mean, its definitely doable, but 4 times, with limited CDs I just dont believe I could take double impales on all 4 platforms and make it through.

Simple, don't take 2 impales. You kill the impaling tentacle before the second impale is cast.

dk dps 4 piece is a 25% chance to proc on an ability that's a 45% proc on frost strike when full rune sets are on cd

Except Prot Paladin 4 piece is just making DG back to what it was before it was nerfd to the ground at the end of T11. Most of us see it as "oh you nerfed our ability only to make us work for a 4 piece to bring it back where it needed to be in the first place? Good Job Blizzard!"

We do not have 4 set yet. I have 3/5 and the tank 2 piece sets are great.

Am I just overgeared now so it's impossible for me to reforge haste back down to 1505? 1776 is such a weird number for Rawr to be giving me because I'll end up at 2276 haste, which is 271 over the combustion tick cap.

Not sayings its not a good upgrade to the ability. But I do not think its make or break compared to making SW into DG or making Regen work on the entire raid. Arguably the DK one is kinda meh, but its also got an extremely short cd.

They seem to have screwed up some numbers in gear above 378. Personally I have every single spot with hit reforged away and I'm still ~80 over cap.

Yeah I honestly haven't paid attention to pally this expansion, they definitely didn't get as good as the others, but still I remember when dg absorbed like 150% of your total health max on the entire raid combined and oh btw could easily kill you if you popped it even while not tanking lol.

Still, I'm just saying, our 4 piece is really not that bad but a proc on a proc that can only happen when runes are on cd compared to some of the things other classes got is just like... wat

Secondly, what I was saying is that RNG doesn't make the bonus worthless. Every bonus have a net dps gain once you average it out over a long fight and that's all matter. It's not like other DPS see a significant increase with their 4 sets. It's usually around 1-2%dmg.

glyphed it makes the entire raid require like 24% less healing in aoe burst situations

unglyphed it gives them a ~10k last stand and makes it require like 12% less heals

it was hard for me to stay above 20k without might using 253 weaps

Every class should be able to hit 25k using 379 gears.

So, DW Frost with Obsidium Cleaverx2(normal) or do I switch to unholy since I have Gurthalak? DW frost and Unholy are close but DW frost edges out apparently in the end. A 390weapon + a pretty saucy proc seems like it would make up for that and possibly pull ahead by a bit. Thoughts?

That tentacle is fucking ridiculous lol. 16.7% of my damage on a dummy, but then again I forgot to keybind dark transformation so I would imagine it being 14% seeing as my ghoul should have being doing a ton more damage.

Won an item in LFR @ Madness of DW. However, my bags weren't full and the dagger didn't go to me, but I assumed it did after seeing I won the roll. Submitted a GM ticket, do they even do this kind of requests to recover items?

Hi, I was in LFR on Madness of Deathwing, and I won the roll on the Rogue dagger that the encounter drops.

My bags were not full and unfortunately I left the raid before discovering that it did not go to my bag, there was no "you recieve loot:" message.

This happened at 23:57~23:59 UK time 15th December 2011.

I was wondering if it is possible to help me claim the item? I was one of the two Rogues present in the fight, and the other Rogue did not roll on the item, so I was the sole winner.

Hope I don't sound too bitchy lol. All GM tickets I create I try to be as civil and mature as possible.

Also, hope I didn't use my "recover item" ticket on a LFR dagger haha, I mean, SquareEnix only allowed 1 item recovery per account/char, not sure if Blizzard adopts the same.

I had a similar thing happen, bags full and Token chest dropped to me. After waiting 2 days for a reply they finally said something to the extent of "We recognize you won the roll but because another player has it, that player must open up a ticket for you to get your item back"

Cheers guys, fingers crossed. I know it's only LFR but I designated Rogue to be VP bitch this patch (decided I won't make a legendary and I'm not enjoying Rogue too much) but it would be nice to get the dagger as it's a large upgrade. Only weird thing is the dagger seems to be the only weapon with no special effects
