It takes about 10 minutes to complete all 6 dailies if you have the bracelets, and it can be done over 7 days (event last 14). If you prefer grinding 5 hours in throne of tides, I won't stop you, but I don't think that grind is needed.

I can understand all the farming yesterday when people were going for quick gold, but it already dropped to 20k. It's hardly worth the effort now.

I got that the first time. It's still is a piss poor argument for anyone who can log in 10 minutes a day and was going to farm the Big love rocket.

I grind out the charms when I have time to do it, which isn't something I can do every day for two weeks. That's why you only farm what you need (28 bracelets) if you want to minimize the time wasted doing mindless grinding. Farming 280 bracelets to get your mount isn't time efficient.

Again, do it in one day if you want, but don't say it's optimal.

So my friend is trying to get me into his raiding guild, but his biggest complaint is that I have a handful of PVP items on. One is a body, which I already plan on replacing via VP or lucky LFR token drop, but I'm having a much harder time finding rings.

The rings are Ruthless Gladiator's Ring of Cruelty and Ruthless Gladiator's Ring of Accuracy.

I'd imagine I can replace one with a VP ring, but I hate giving up a huge chunk of crit or hit just for some mastery and a tiny bit of agility. Any suggestions? I'm not too sure when one stat will outweigh another for stuff like that.

You should switch to survival, it destroy MM pretty much everywhere. No point fine tuning your gears if you lose 3k dps because of your spec.

Before replacing anything, you might want to check if it's an actual improvement. PvP gears is generally equal to gears one tier lower in PvE, so you're not losing a lot of dps.

1250 justice point. 129 secondary stats for 37 agility. I've no idea how it will turn out, but both are probably pretty close.

I've given SV a try, but it's taking me a while to get a good feel for it, get the rotations down, etc. So I've just been sticking with MM in the meantime.

What's the main draw to SV, or what makes it so much better? An extra 3k DPS would definitely be nice even if just for such a simple switch. I do "ok" damage in heroics (25k or so), shit damage in DS excluding madness (20k), and like 45k on madness. I always feel like I'm being carried up until the end, in which case it always seems like the people I'm with do fuck all for damage suddenly.

Or maybe I'm bad and should feel bad for being MM because MM is bad, and I'm being carried the whole time

Best answer I can give you is "deal with it". Go attack a training dolls 10 minutes and you will be fine, the rotation is seriously not that complex (3 shots with obvious priority).

Why is it better? Better single target damage, better aoe damage, and better movement imo (mostly because aiming shot is a bitch to deal with when there is a lot of movement). I sincerely don't know if MM is still good at anything...

#1 Apply Hunter Mark if the fight is going to be long
#2 Apply Serpent Sting right away if the fight is going to last more than 10 seconds (serpent sting increases your dmg by 10%)
#3 If explosive shot is up, use it. It's by far your best dps abilities and it should be spammed
#4 Black Arrow/Explosive trap for single target/multi target (Black arrow and trap also trigger freebies Explosive shot)
#5 Arcane shot or Cobra shot depending of your focus. Try to keep it around 50-60 generally, you don't want to miss any explosive shot.

#1 and #2 are identical to MM, and #3,#4,#5 is your shot priority. Replace your first icon with explosive, your 2nd with Black arrow and your third with arcane shot, and always click the leftmost (while keeping 50stamina for the next black arrow)

For Explosive Shot, there is times when you can uses it 3 times back to back (Lock and Load proc), however it's best to use it twice, wait 0.3sec, and use it again to make sure that all 9 "tick" hit your target (you will only get 8 tick if you spam it).

Thanks for all the advice! I've been trying out SV and it's been a huge DPS increase so far. I've only been running heroic dungeons, but I've been able to hit 30k+ pretty steadily both overall and on bosses.

I'm looking forward to next week to see how it performs in a raid situation.

actually you dont apply serpent sting first, opener should look like this:

1. Hunter's Mark + MD
2. Explosive Shot
3. Serpent Sting
4. Black Arrow

Good DPS mostly comes from good focus management, the point of SV rotation is to have enough focus to explosive shot right away after the CD is up while not wasting focus by having too much focus.

Also get 2p T13 asap, even if it means you have to replace your 391 with 384.

What's a good figure for a casual healer? I started healing on Paladin.

Gear is a mix of junk 378/384 no tier

Initially on Deathwing in LFR i did 9k or so, wasn't too good as I just started off/wasn't used to it.
After some practice/reading I went back to do it again.

It's not fun and I don't enjoy it, but the perk of quick LFR queue is cool.

Been joining a few Deathwing raids. Previous 2 I peaked at 16k, 3rd place, top healer was 18k (Priest)

Topped one Ultraxion at 34k

Unsure what figures to go for. Told my friend I did 15k on Deathwing 4th place with top guy doing 19k, he said I was being carried, but then I looked at the 2 below me who were doing < 10k

So I came to ask what kind of figures I would want to shoot for on a normal basis lol; I not confident enough to heal 10man, not without the extra "back up"

The issue with LFR is that there's almost nothing to heal. You'd probably have to do a 10m/25m normal just to see anything. What spells are you using, and when? How are you utilizing your healing cooldowns? Is anyone dying? How's your mana at the end of fights?

Is femaledwarf broken, or am I missing something obvious... (raid buff/debuff, wolf, didnt change anything else).

Agi: 4.182 dps/point
Haste: 4.348 dps/point
Crit: 1.6dps
Mastery: 1.3dps

I guess, in normal circumstances, I spam holy light/shock and glory for single targets, spam radiance for AOE and Dawn, and use cooldowns in periods of heavy aoe damage.

Regardless, I think I'm getting the hang of it. I switched my meters to healing just so I can "race" people, and with liberal use of Divine Plea and knowing when to melee for regen I'm happy with my mana usage/conservation

Can anyone tell me if Bubble Taunt works for Paladin, or was it fixed. Just read about it, but I never thought about it, I always assumed that by the act of Bubbling the mob isn't going to attack you no matter what, but it's suggested that taunt will reverse this effect and still make the mob attack you?

I'll go home to test it if no one knows but it'll be some information to throw at the impale tank.

It could have been a good explanation, but there is a 1400 haste ratings window where haste obliterate everything according to the spreedsheet (after that it quickly drop). This is close to twice the amount I'm wearing right now, which is already above the 3 cobra shot/explosive shot.

There is obviously some sort of haste point that make femaledwarf go crazy, but I don't understand it.
