Anyone want a free lvl 80? Not sure how many of these scrolls I can send out, but if anyone wants one let me know and i'll hook you up. Granted I play on Moon Guard server and I think it forces you to my server or something.
I thought it had to be for an inactive account?
I have a couple inactive accounts from RAF'ing and such.
Giving myself a free 80 paladin now, maybe a DK next. They are the only 2 classes I don't have at 80+
Do mounts given through loot master still keep a 2hour duration to be traded?
I figure looting it to my character then opening a trade window would be smarter than asking for payment before giving the mount to the buyer through loot master.
edit: took a friend to H: culling of stratholme, apparently it works
Do engineering enchants like the Flexweave Underlay interfere with other profession perks like the tailor enchants?
I currently have JC, Enchant, Herb, Mining, Alch, Inscription, and I am needing new professions for a rogue I am leveling. I am going to take up engineering and was going to do tailor for bags but it would suck if I had to choose between a parachute and the tailor perk.
Maybe I'll do BS instead of tailor. I only have leather and cloth classes but I don't really care to make my own gear since really all my gear is from honor/conquest etc.

no
Why is my honor so low? I don't get it.
[edit]
Oh, does it stay at 0 when its capped?
I'm not entirely sure if I'm allowed to ask this here, but does anyone know of a decent method to go about selling an account without getting scammed?
Any tips (or links to guides) for soloing as Blood? I'm planning on doing it in my Frost DPS gear (Frost just doesn't seem to have as much survivability as I'd like).
Everything I can seem to find is from WotLK, and I'm pretty clueless about how one goes about playing Blood. Spend blood runes on Heart Strike, frost/unholy on Death Strike full-time, or only when HP is needed? Spend RP on Rune Strike?
Any tips/tricks that anyone would like to share would be greatly appreciated, too.
Thanks.
I play a DK Tank main. When I solo : Blood Pres. Rotation : Frost Fever-->Plague Strike --> Heart Strike--> RuneStrike, then repeat either your heart strike or Runestrike.
For AoE mobs : D&D-->FF-->US-->PS-->Pest(so it spreads diseases to all ) and Blood boil ( or can rotate HeartStrike ).
With Death Strike as Healing, you normally wait about every 2-3 hits before using it, since DS heals based on the last 5 seconds of dmg you had taken.
^ -- I half-disagree
With Blood Soloing, and you're probably doing old content, you would want to Death Strike as often as possible.
As Outbreak is on a 30s cooldown, spec into the "disease extension" of unholy
DPS gear should be 8% hit and 26 exp as usual, then as much mastery as possible followed by haste (haste > mastery is also OK if you don't want to reforge purely)
Try to obtain a Bone Linked Fetish. This "wtfpwn" trinket can speed up trash fights significantly
Boss/1 mob:
Outbreak, DS DS Rune Tap DS, wait a tiny bit for some runes to build up, Dancing Rune Weapon (DRW), DS DS DS HS HS HS RS RS RS etc
HS the Blood Runes away, spam DS RS otherwise
Trash
Outbreak, Spread it, HS a few with DS, collect 60 RP, DRW, HS HS HS HS HS, DS if it's LOTS of trash
Blood Boil when it procs, preferably when your DRW pet is up so it mimics it
Reason
By spamming DS as much as possible, you take advantage of the fact that:
1. It's your hardest hitting ability
2. It can crit up to 100k due to the improved crit rate, quite often too
3. Your shield continously grows. Mobs will rarely take you down fast enough as you keep applying your shield. This ups your survivability.
4. You use DRW when it's up and you got a fresh set of runes coming. DRW mimics your attacks for half the damage. Try to time DRW with your next Outbreak so you can apply 2 sets of diseases (although I do question if they stack)
5. By being on the offense you reduce the amount of time you are soloing before the mob becomes a threat. Extending the fight by using the lesser abilities and then only DSing to Heal up is actually counter productive. The only exception to this rule is when you know the boss will do a severly hard hitting ability that you'd want to time a Death Strike every now and then. If the boss is hitting you hard enough to force you to time DS then the boss will eventually grind you down as your low DPS output combined with timing DS will affect the fight.
It is easier to spam to maintain a shield to recover any health lost from magical attacks.
Even in Dungeons and Dragon Soul I tank in DPS gear if the healer doesn't bat an eyelid to what I am doing.
My DPS floats around 20k single target assuming it's a standstill boss, and up to 60k for trash.
Only funny thing I found was when I tanked Ultraxion in DPS gear I floated to around 28k on the meters, 3rd. No one questioned what I did. However during that fight liberal use of DRW increases your DPS significantly. However it's not as if the fight is hard, but it seems people don't care or something. If I was a DPS and a tank came above me in damage I'd notice and wonder what the hell is wrong =p

If you want some things to test yourself:
1. VoA - try to solo the first 3 bosses. Earth guy is easy. Air guy is slightly trickier, but doable. Fire guy is the trickiest, and will test your ability to do fast DPS and using defensive cooldowns.
2. Onyxia - phase 2 takes a while, you just gotta keep applying diseases and death coiling her to Phase 3
3. Stonecore - Solo up to the 2nd boss in normal mode (to test yourself, and for mount!) -- I've not tried it on heroic but it should be possible, I don't see why not
I assumed he was soloing as in leveling >.> I mean, I haven't had a problem so far ( nor tanking ) but I will def. read up on the stuff
you posted to try it out. I will admit, DS is a fucking beast when coupled with the IDS and Glyph of DS too.
Sorry, I probably should've specified. I hit 85 a few days ago, and I'm looking more to solo old content eventually.
Thanks for all of the input!
Thanks to scroll of resurrection I now have a 80 dk and 80 paladin.
Leveling both soon, ret and frost. Looking for tips/rotations etc on both pre-85. I have no intention of tanking instances, but I may heal them.
Does the damage gurthalak's tentacles vary between 390/403/416? or is it the same for all?
I'm pretty sure vial of shadow dmg increase with ilvl. I'm going to assume it's the same for the tentacles.
I'll go get naked and test for you.
EDIT:
I couldn't get naked, so I had basic tank gear on with nothing on proc:
LFR Gurth = 9882/tic (no rune)
Normal Gurth = 11155/tic (gargoyle rune/no proc to increase any sort of dps)
Arcane mage's best AoE is Arcane Explosion, right? I should yell at my mages if I see Blizzard during Yor'sahj?
I honestly don't know much about mage anymore. Just trying to help our struggling mage through heroics and I question her spell selection.
