There is seldom a need to post at all on EJ. But yeah their rules make it incredibly hard to ask questions. I dare not post in their mage forums, unfriendly as they are. In other words, if you have questions ask them here since that won't get you banned lol.
Haste not only increases your autoattack speed but your energy regen as well, which makes it stronger than either mastery or crit on combat rogue once you've capped poison hit and have 26 expertise. This is true at all levels of gear.
in theory it's balanced a bit better than in FFXI, but currently it's a little strong for most classes and therefore used as the primary non-base stat for most
also, most ej forums actually have random question type threads now that are pretty lax, but I wouldn't dare post in one of the main threads unless you have seriously major information and are absolutely certain of its validity
For lols and "don'ts" just look at their "The Banhammer" forum lol
How does the server transfer on the scroll of resurrection work? Can I just pick any server they have a character on, or what?
Ah ok, didn't realize you sent it from in-game like that. Is there a time limit on the level boost/server transfer, or does it have to be a pre-existing character? Like could I reactivate via SoR, do the goblin starter isles, THAN transfer/boost that character?
Wouldn't need to transfer if you're starting a new toon, but yes I'm like 95% certain you can do that. You definitely at least get a choice from anything you do already have.
Well I wanted to transfer some heirlooms/gold to the server in question.
Started to play Retribution again, and there is one priority issue I'm concerned about:
I know my first objective is to build HP to activate Inquisition. Let's consider no DivineP procs, so I cast it with just 1 HP.
Next step is to build more HP for a longer Inquisition buff, isn't it?
Then let's say one way or another, I get my full-time Inquisition buff. Now, should I start building HP to activate Zealotry?
Or should I consider Zealotry only with a DivineP proc, and use 3HP for TemplarV purposes?
1. Always start up with 3HP inquisition, 1HP inq. only last 8 seconds, thats way too short to set up the DPS rotation. The goal is to get inq. up so you can start doing TVs and not to worry about inquisition.
2. You dont need to wait for DP proc, Zealotry requires 3 HP, but it doesnt consume it nor it triggers your GCD, so you can just do templar's verdict right away, have a macro that goes
and basically do all your offensive cooldown at the same time, and since they're both on 2 min CD, you should do them together like this.#showtooltip
/cast Zealotry
/cast Avenging Wrath
/cast Templar's Verdict
/startattack
and that being said, the only time you want to delay using Zealotry/Avenging Wrath is to sync up your cooldown with trinket proc. Other than that, it's always use on cooldown.
You can also add "on use" trinket in the macro aswell, since their cooldown is (Valor)1:30 min & (Fireland 391) 2 min
Has anyone else noticed a trend of people renaming but with qt at the end of their name? Seen a few so far, wondering what the fuck it means.
It's a pvp thing.
lol I have like 3 alts with qt at the end that I never logged onto. Unholyqt retqt etc, its so fucking stupid. But now noone can have them, mufufu.
Although I did get a GM to unlock a name I wanted that someone was saving.
qt or lol at the end are like the universal sign for "I transferred here for arena or rbg"
You're right, haste > spell hit once you're past t12 gear.
All the same, poisons falling off your target in 10 man is a drop in RDPS, even if only for a second. Makes me sad.
