Oh thank god, i was scared for a second, really like Spriest <3, i think i'll go read howtopriest.com (formerly people from shadowpriest.com) and check rotations, mods, specs, etc.

DK's right now have no problem soloing kael. I even do it with Bloodworm spec and Gurth, he almost never MC's me(I always bring drums and prismatic potion though). However, when things change on the 28th, maybe we won't be capable of soloing him any more. I seriously hope we still can. But I have this feeling that Bliz wants to kick DK's in the balls.I have a DK too which i want to use to farm Ashes of Al'ar. Can i still farm it as DK? i heard i won't be able to spec out Bloodworm to avoid get charmed?
And Openraid is a great website, I've had 95% good experiences from those xrealm raids.
For people who have experience with RAF. Do the RAF'd account's characters all need to be on the same server as the character you wish to grant levels to?
For instance: I'm planning on making my monk on server A.
I've already leveled a priest/warrior combo on server A for half the grantable levels.
I want to level a second set of somethings for the other half, preferably on server B.
Can I then use just the priest on server A to grant all of the levels, or only the ones that priest specifically earned?
I guess more what I'm asking is, are the grantable levels locked to specific characters, rather than the account as a whole?
It's server/character specific.
If you transfer you should lose all RAF benefits, except for maybe the mount at the end for paying for however many months active.
If your priest is level 80 and you want to grant 40 levels, you can only grant them to characters on that server. You can grant them however you want, say 20 levels to character X and 20 to character Y, but all on that server. If your priest transfers, you lose all grant-ability, and you can't grant levels to characters on other servers.
Okay, so the pair of somethings has to be on the server my monk is going to be made on then. Thanks.
Money making tips? I've always been able to make enough to get by, but never been one of the rich people. I want a yak, though! D:
The ore shuffle is no longer worthwhile on my realm (unsurprisingly). The original ploy of darkmoon cards out the wazoo once MoP was released, got a bit tougher after the introduction of the once-a-day item for scribes. Think it'll still be worth it if I make like 6 scribes? I was also considering changing some professions around to make my main engineer/miner (currently engineer/enchanter) for the gathering goggles (though they're currently not Engi only on beta, but I'd assume, hope even, they will be live) and trying to make some gold off the new mounts. (I'd do my main for speed-killing for the Spirits, cause all my other toons are in shit gear.)
Halp? WANT. YAK.
Right now is probably the worst time to be making gold, though. I suggest you look for something from the Wrath BC era such as crafting mats, and try selling it for jacked up prices.
I've made some gold running Pit of Saron HC on my Mage(Also tailor, for extra frostweave). Gives greens to DE, lots of frostweave cloth, rare chance at Hilt. All other stuff like trash epics and greys can be sold for extra gold. But it's a long grind really, it will be boring very fast. I only do this when the stuff is at it's highest peak for selling. For example atm Frostweave cloth stacks are 70g a stack on my realm, 20 infinite dust is around 150g.
Also, if you have a skinner try looking at your knothide prices, you can farm the trash at karazhan(near entrance, on the right) for easy knothide leather.
Solo old raids if you can, easy gold there too.
AND i'm out of ideas
Doesn't have to be now, but after MoP, as well. I just want to have money for a yak, don't care if that's on release day or four months in, you know? Thanks for the tips!![]()
hey guys, i have some questions about the scroll of resurrection.
when it comes to a character transfer can you only transfer to the server the friend is on, or can you pick any? if only to the server the friend is on, is it based on where the toon currently is or where it was when he sent (or you accepted) the invite?
I dun wanna test it and accidentally fuck it up before i pile all my shit on one toon.
So how does pvp power work compared to pure stats? I see there are blue Power gems on the vendor now for honor and INT+power gems..and some str+resi but no str+power.
I am going nuts cuz (and this willl sound stupid but) How do i see all my mounts/pets? i used to type "P" and could tab to mounts or pet, now i can't find where to see them!
shift p
brief rundown:
ok so, everyone has 40% base resilience now, i.e. 40% reduction from players
whatever resilience was on gear is now evenly split between resilience and pvp power
so, for example, in my faceroll bg setup with some heroic ds gear, I was running about 3400 resil, which gave me about 36% damage reduction
I now have about 1700 resil and 1700 pvp power.
This gives me
40% base + 18% gear damage reduction from resil
18% damage/healing increase from pvp power
Spell penetration no longer exists (and has been made unnecessary), anything that was previously spell pen is now pvp power. Hence the pvp power + x gems.
Anyone know how the economy will turn after the expansion?
I'm noticing lots of things clogging the AH right now such as multiple listings of both spec tiger mounts as little as 220k.
Gold flow going up or down?
Ahh ok didn't know that about spell pen. So how does it stack up to say pure str gems? Like 50str vs 50 Pvp Power in a pure pvp setting. That's where i'm confused on the math, I would assume that PvP power would be the choice as I believe it effects even our DK healing? But i'm not 100% positive.
When the expansion hits most people will focus on leveling, but some people will be focusing on professions. Lots of people rush for server first profession master. MoP herbs and ore will be worth astronomical prices for a couple of months. If you have a gatherer, do it. I had a hunter at level 80 when cata opened and he got level 82 from JUST MINING in uldum, made over 50k gold in no time at all. And this was after my first 85, so I didn't get the best of the best prices.
After those initial few months, gold farmer bots will swoop in and prices will start to stabilize, however low level herbs/ore will still be worth tons. Specifically late vanilla (40-60 zones), and possibly some wrath/cata.
Just remember that right now there is pretty much nothing to do except for farm gold and stock up on mats that will sell well. After the expansion when thats all unloaded things change. My server is huge, and like most servers nothing happens to the economy. But these are the areas that will make a ton of money. Oh and enchanting mats, lol stock up.
I was expecting mats and things like bags to skyrocket, but the fact that big items like spectral tigers are clogging the AH has me worried that Blizz is about to drop the hammer on the amount of gold entering the economy.
So supposedly there is a bug where regular Rag is dropping mounts. Anyone able to confirm? Gonna go test it later tonight.
Edit:
LOL CONFIRMED
lol, I was about to buy this shit for 100k
time for some normal rag runs >:D
