how do you start the pandaria event?
Open up the queue screen (same as that of Dungeon/Raid Finder), then click "Scenarios"
Have to be lv85, I believe.
Works best if you're standing on top of the tower in Theramore before you queue.
Was looking into trying WoW for a tad. I was curious on what sites are accepted at the de facto standard in terms of a WoW-wiki and general math-crunching for theories.
Thank you guys in advance.
Wowhead is great as a wiki I find. Noxxic is decent, though more tuned towards beginners. Icy-veins is another good one, off the top of my head.
Resist the urge to murder people on MMO Champ. The site is good for news and notes but when you dip into the forums you're going to want to murder people. As Odon/Plow put it, they are all mostly suffering from asbergers.
Otherwise, I think we got enough people here on BG to provide you with a blunt/good realistic advice. Definitely use Icy Veins, I found Noxxic to be crap not because it's dedicated to beginners but something's a little off about it.
Keep in mind, only read Elitist Jerks, especially as a new player. Their posting policies are incredibly strict, and likely to just leave a new player banned and with a bad taste in their mouth. Basically, just only read any of them, and only post here if you have any questions. Most of us have enough knowledge to answer a good majority of it anyway.
Yeah what Clemz said, even a simple question will have everyone on Elitist Jerks cock slamming you within seconds. If your post doesn't contain some sort of math equation or data mine you can expect it to get deleted.
Mekgineer's chopper and Tundra mammoth don't convert to horde characters, is this intended? Anyone know if Blizzard plans to fix it?
I typically use wowhead, wowwiki, petopia, the official forums, and occasionally elitistjerks/mmochamp as raw data resources, then ask whatever questions i might have here. Also I google stuff a lot.
Probably a dumb question, but my google fu fails me and all I'm finding is conflicting information:
Does MoP go live at midnight on the 25th, or does it go live after maintenance later in the day? It would seem odd to go live only to have a scheduled maintenance a few hours later (other than to fix all the shit that will break), but I wouldn't put it past them to let some people get on super early either.
I have the collectors edition pre-ordered since I like having the actual box to stick on a shelf somewhere, but if that's going to delay my playing early I may just cancel it and go digital to get on asap.
MoP goes live at midnight PST on the 25th. They said they have some new tech they're trying out, so if all goes well it'll just kinda... start working at midnight PST. No restarts required. We'll see.
No random discussion thread so I guess I'll post here.
These cross realm zones are kinda cool, my Dalaran isn't dead any more. At most I'd see around 3 people, now I see about 15+ :D!
