You can't use an EU account to log on to US servers, and vice versa. I had to buy EU versions of the game to make an EU account, but I play both my US and EU accounts on a US client.

Oh, I thought you meant you had a US account, since you said you've done it before.
Once I hit Champion rank with one of the factions in the Argent Tournament, can I switch to another faction and still be able to do the champion rank quests for 25g (with champion's purse) each? If not, I think I'll hang out at champion for a while.
Sweet, thanks
Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft
Is this a viable DPS DK talent tree to follow?
I'm looking to level one of my melee characters. I have Death Knight at 80, but I just don't enjoy playing it and want a melee that I do end up enjoying at 80.
My options are Rogue, Retribution, Feral, or Warrior. I'm having a hard time deciding. Warrior is the only one that I've played at level cap (70). They all have pros and cons that make choosing difficult. I enjoy all of their playstyles more or less.
Should I look for versatility in the age of dual-specs? I don't know heh.
Any advice or just rah-rahs for a specific class would be great. I'm just looking for things that will tip me to one class or the other.
Tricen: I'm unholy spec, so I've never done much looking at deep blood, but you want 3/3 death rune mastery. The guaranteed death runes mean you get a third ability useage every cooldown. Having that third heart strike or whatever will let you do alot more damage.
Kurp: I'll tell you the same thing i tell everyone else that has a hard time deciding: go druid.
Cat form is a rogue, bear form is a warrior, boomkin is a mage-lite, tree is priest/shammy with better HoTs. With the advent of dual spec you can switch out and keep from being bored. Probably your best bet if your having a hard time deciding.
I play a druid. Cat form is fun, can have high damage returns, but its kind of like thief in ff11 - 99% of cats suck, and the 1% that are good top the charts. While it's unfair to say its a difficult dps priority list/rotation, it's more complicated than others which just involve button mashing. Due to the random nature of energy gains from Omen of Clarity, you're forced to think constantly as to what to do next, which finishing move to use etc. One wrong step and your DPS suffers greatly. Doing the right things at the right times offers great rewards dps wise. I currently top the dps charts on almost all fights in ulduar for my guild.
Bear tanking: Awesome solo capabilities, more HP than other tanks, about the same mitigation. There really isn't much tank gear for a bear that's different from DPS gear, which kind of sucks. There just aren't as many choices as plate users get. That being said however, I've main tanked almost every boss in ulduar both 10 and 25 man, and our healers find it easier to heal me than our warrior main tank, which outgears me, yet doesn't have as much HP to soak big hits. My threat capabilities do lack however, but that's probably due to how I gemmed and geared myself.
Since I'm not too interested in PVP, being able to go from cat to bear on the fly is awesome for me. I can solo instances with bear, tank if we're short one, and swap to cat and top the meters on the fly. That being said, your options are more limited while playing bear or cat than a different tank or DPS spec. Rogues have a simpler dps cycle that is much more forgiving. Warriors have more interrupts than bears do.
While dpsing I probably spend more time watching 8 bars, my energy meter and combo points than I do looking at the boss or the fight (I'll find myself sitting out of range, and only notice it when I notice my energy stops going down). It's not a faceroll to victory class.
Dumb question but it seems to me that outside of raiding there isn't much to do! So, what does everyone do in game while not raiding that would present me with some fun? I don't want to go and do every quest either!
Farm rare mounts, farm rare vanity pets, farm gold, do wintergrasp, level alts, play peggle.
PvP is pretty fun, try dipping your toes into Wintergrasp and if you like it, queue up AB or WSG.
You could always also level an alt unless you're dead set against it. With enough heroic badges now you can have a pretty twinked out level 1 alt crushing things in his/her path.
I'm starting back into WoW on an account I started a few years ago. I'm going to be starting a new character because I didn't like the class I started as, and would like to do mage or warlock, I'll have to look back into to see which one. I kinda want to start on the horde side, but the first character was on alliance and I want to be able to get the gold off it. Would I be able to mail the Gold to a new character if I start horde?
