How did you achieve 30k on that, I was squatting at 9k I think O_O, but at the time I really wasn't sure what I was doing so I focused on survival (burning conversion) || and 170k is hugely impressive... makes me wanna level a monk now to try and see what I can do haha!

the reason we didn't get them down the first week of heroics was essentially that whichever tank had 2 was taking so much damage that it was such a struggle to stay alive we couldn't focus enough on, well, anything else, and kept fucking up what few mechanics there are

dk can push those same numbers as well, it's just that he's running capped exp/hit for damage/heal power while I'm running pure mastery with like 1% expertise and hit

the way we did it this week (which I recommend strongly, btw) is to alternate with the casts: if the solo tank's mob starts casting, he just taunts the one that just exploded over. If not, that means the convenient one is exploding and you just leave it as is.

That resulted in both of us being about exactly 100k.

just looked at our normal kill from week 1, I don't wanna link it cuz it's embarrassing (you can find it if you care tho) but I was holding 2 the whole time, I did 65k shin did 6k, lol

Well it was only a matter of time, but blood spirits crashed from 10-15k down to ~4k today, with multiple people selling them by the stack. Can't wait to see what they're worth when I log back in later today.

Dupers at it again, or are there just that many useless drops in HoF being DE'd? I'm gonna go with le dupe...

That's half a stack from one full raid, pretty sure there aren't stacks and stacks and stacks being created.

There's a decent amount from the buff to rates and shit, but the rate they're appearing now is not natural.

Any tips for grinding out a Spirit of Harmony or two for a lv85/86? Something with a forced respawn would be awesome; nothing comes to mind immediately.

Edit: It's for a Blood DK, so a fairly sturdy class/spec combination.

Yeah, that's what I've been doing so far. I was hoping someone would have a tip for a decent area in which to do that in Jade Forest or Vot4W or somesuch. Thanks.

The Greenstone Quarry in Jade Forest should be pretty good, plus if you're a miner that place literally shits out ghost iron.

Try the turtles by Pools of Purity in Valley. I know a bunch of people who farm there for meat to convert into tokens and shit. Bonus points if you're a skinner.

Kept hitting the enrage on garalon at 20ish%.

Anyone able to examine the dps and see why some of them seemed low?

We tried two healing with Hpally + rshaman but was way too rough. I know our comp is shaman heavy (getting fixed this week hopefully, had some people absent and had to fill in spots).

Shit would be so much better with a resto druid or monk healer. But I suspect our dps might be doing something wrong, anyone able to critique?

Same problem we ran into tonight. After taking way too long to get the mechanics down, we're wiping around the same % as you three healing. There's just too much damage coming in for us to realistically two heal it right now. Our dps spread looks similar to yours minus one of the DKs pulling 100k+ which I assume is where everyone should be sitting.

Yeah, it sucks. Tried making our dk go frost a bit as he soaks the cleave but seemed to be doing more harm then good (more raid damage). We're gonna try messing around with comp this week hopefully and try and get people to look into how to increase their dps.

Also wtf, I didn't know you were on hyjal, thought I was the only one on BG!

I've been on three different servers since I've come back trying to find a decent fit of a guild since all my friends quit in LK. I've been on Hyjal just two weeks this Tuesday.

We do gara with our shadowpriest running disc in pure dps setup just dpsing. And 2 actual healers.

What kind of UI/interface can I make with a 2560x1440 resolution screen? (27inch). it's not a touch screen (although the idea was pretty cool but I'm not willing to pay £500 more)

A bit overkill really but WoW would be the only game I'll play on this system (otherwise it'd be for coding/working/photoshopping).

the big key for Garalon is just making sure your best dps are in a foot circle as much as they possibly can be

each leg has about 3% of gara's hp, and killing a leg instantly knocks off 3% of his hp... so stand in circles killing feet and you're getting the 100% damage directly to gara himself, essentially

you can have a frost dk or something eat the cleaves quite easily... if you have dps/heals run the pheromones

I know most groups, including myself, are using tanks at least part of the time (we're doing tank 1 > tank 2 > hunter > elesham > rinse and repeat), but I'm thoroughly convinced the mechanics of the fight were specifically designed to PREVENT tanks running the pheromones.

Whenever we try to have tanks run pharamones the two tanks almost always inevitably accidently swap it between them.
