With the 50% off character services going for a few more days, now is the time for me to level/transfer to a new guild if possible.

Is priest still decent? I'll be with at least 1 or 2 friends trying to find a new guild to raid in and they'll probably be DPS, so being a healer would be beneficial. But I do have pretty much everything at 85-90 or higher except monk.

edit: in fact, we may play it safe and bring over classes that are more geared towards PVP. So he'll probably do Rogue or Mage and I have war/dk/priest/lock available.

So, how are Locks and Priests faring in both PVE/PVP after the patch?

After looking around at some 2s/3s rankings, and talking to my friends cousin on the server we're gonna go to, we're probably gonna play Priest and Mage. Gonna transfer to Bleeding Hollow Horde while this 50% thing is going on, should be fun.

Now to figure out if its better to powerlevel my professions on KT or on BH lol, and if I want to do BS/JC/ENG for a 1543345634th time.

Debating on changing my hunter's race. Been wanting to do it since they added human and transmogging. Leather looks way better on human than night elf. But it's so cosmetic I have a hard time justifying paying for it...the 50% off is tempting though...

The 50% off makes everything better. It's such a low price now, do it. I hate how nelfs look and human, clothed, looks better in almost every armor type. Without helms though its a different story.

I got the names I wanted freed up by a GM and now I'm sitting here debating my Priest to be Undead Female or Male or BElf Female. Such a hard decision, fuck you 50% off.

Just wanted to say I did make the switch to a new server and different faction, and I'm so happy I did. I knew from the past that changing server, and especially faction, makes this game feel like its brand new again. All day at work I;m thinking about it and I can't wait to get off cause I just wanna go home and play, and I haven't had that feeling in forever.

Went undead with my priest. Friend went mage so this way we can do 2s well and his cousin is a ~2400 resto druid so we can do 3s with me as shadow. Plus this server is a lot closer to a 1:1 H:A ratio so it's a much better place to be rather than the PVE feeling alliance dominated KT. Just gotta hit 90 tomorrow and get back to LFR and raiding. So excite. Not a question obviously but more of an update, thanks for the answers.

Came back to the game with a buddy, lvling shaman+hunter since we heard they are pretty stupid OP in pvp. So should I go ele or enhance for more lulz? At lvl 87 now, only took 2 days played time.

Does anyone have any tips for upping DPS as a Fire Mage on Durumu? Right now I'm doing decently on every fight but Durumu and I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. I'm only really pvp'ing with some lfr's mixed in, healing mostly, and new to this server with only 31k gold.

Anyone know how I should spend honor/conquest on my fresh 90?

I rushed tryannical staff with my Conquest so far, and am running half honor gear half crafted. Not sure if I should spend honor on set items since I get more faster, or conquest on them. Basically should I spend conquest as fast as I can get it on smaller items or safe it for set items.

The answer is pretty much whatever. You're going to replace any honor gear you get as soon as you can with cq anyway.

You do want your set bonuses asap, though, so if you can't complete a set with cq, fill it out with honor.


Also, remember that if you're capable of queuing as tank or healer you'll get honor WAY faster by grinding heroics for jp to convert.

the resil change was to make pve gear viable starter gear for pvp

in bg's and arenas it's all scaled down to 496, 496+ pve gear beats 476 pvp gear (although not by a huge margin), but 496 pvp gear beats pve gear by a lot
